Rookie RBs next year (1 Viewer)

Just curious what everyone thinks. Here are some names, in no particular order, that I'll throw out there for consideration as top rookie RBs:

Javid Best, California

LeGarrette Blount, Oregon

Joe McKnight, USC

Toby Gerhart, Stanford (assuming he goes pro)

C.J. Spiller, Clemson

Noel Devine, West Virginia (again, assuming he goes pro)

My boy Blount is the guy to own. The way he laid out that Boise State PUNK is something you don't find often. He is special. For that reason alone he is on the top of my draft board.

I will definitely be watching the Senior Bowl and other college all-star games closely. Didn't see Mathews from Fresno St. play. Dwyer didn't impress me at all against Iowa in the Orange Bowl. The comment about Blount is hilarious! But I did see Blount play against Oregon St. and he is a load to try to tackle and has decent hands too so he could be a very intriguing pick.

Does anyone know...can sophomores declare for the draft or did the NFL change that? If so, Jacquizz Rodgers of Oregon St. should be added to the list along with Mark Ingram of Alabama if either decided to go pro.

Glad I traded away my first rounders in my three dynasty leagues. Not really that excited about any of these guys.

I think the rule is 3 years out of high school. So, if someone redshirted their first year they could declare as a sophomore.

In all seriousness though, stoooopid incident notwithstanding and based strictly on talent alone, if he has a great combine showing, does he still merit any possible mid-late round consideration...?

He will be drafted, and he may even turn out to be a decent player if he can stay out of prison.(which I doubt)

lol you guys are silly. Punching a guy is bad but this guy ha been a leader on his team since he got there and coming intothe season was primed for a great year. He ain't gonna punch nobody in the NFL and the fall in draft status could be good for him. He is pretty much available to any team. Some of these guys are going to bust just because their team is a bust. Blount is 2nd to 4th round material.

It should be interesting to see where mccluster from ole miss goes and when in the draft he goes. He perhpas cjould perform like anohte sproles.......

McCluster played a lot of WR before this year, will be interesting not only to see where he goes but how teams use him. I could see him being like Desean Jackson if used right.

My favorite RBs in this draft are Ryan Matthews and Montario Hardesty

I m particularly interested in cj,matthews and dwyer.

Charles Scott from LSU could be really good on the right team. He was LSU's best running back the last 2 years. Les Miles really misused him this last season by playing him at fullback.
