i dont want to nitpick, cause it's hard to assemble a team, but starting Jason Smith at right tackle seems shortsighted. The Rams will find that out this year.

Maybe, maybe not. I think overall he's basically a middling starter, and probably an adequate one for what the proposed scheme would require, with potential to play better when healthy. I wouldn't be expecting anything more than that, really. Clearly he's a risk, and before Wildman adjusted the OL values he wasn't starting.The cap was the cap though, and didn't allow me to afford everyone I wanted. I wasn't willing to degrade another area for what I felt was a marginal upgrade(for the scheme) to, say, Loadholt, Pashos, Barnes or Cherilus. I had Oher as the starter prior to the cap change.
