Nice article. I love Dion Lewis (and don't see Bryce as a threat), but there are certainly a lot worse options to take a shot on than Bryce Brown.
I don't put much stock in highlights that happened nearly 3 years ago however. I want to see something on tape now. He's been on football vacation for almost 3 years. You can only live off high school for so long.
I honestly believe the only thing holding Brown back is himself. He's been a superstar in his own mind since he started HS and maybe this wakeup call does something for him. He's been saying all the right things but he has to prove that he's willing to work.
“It’s been a humbling experience but it’s made me what I am today,” Brown said. “And I can say I’m a lot more grateful and appreciate football more. It was a down moment for me. But it’s not what you do when you’re down. It’s what you do afterwards. And this is an opportunity for me to come back and show everybody that I can still play ball and help this organization win football games.”
Last I read, Brown has never pass blocked before in his career. I promptly accepted a trade for Ryan Mallet when I read that. If he can't pass block and has to be taught from scratch, no way he sees the field much.

So now this dude is the clear #2, what is his dynasty value?
I recently tried to trade him for Michael Bush because I am a Forte owner yet I ws rejected. Maybe that will be a blessing in disguise because this guy shows legit skills. While his short term future is murky behind the best rb in the league, he will eventually end up somewhere as the man with no tread. Shouldn't he be worth more than the typical 'cuff'?

Good question...I'm wondering that too. My sense is that he doesn't hold much value to owners who don't have him already (I haven't received any solicitations for him). The two big issues that I see are that 1) LeSean is clearly the better back right now and will get the vast majority of carries / short dump-offs, etc and 2) Philly has not been even feeding LeSean the ball that much (pass-first offensive mentality). My guess is that we'll have to basically wait until he is traded or is a free agent (so 3+ years?)....although I love the upside and wouldn't trade him for peanuts right now (which is all you'll get if you trade him).
