The Pats had Testaverde in a month or so back, along with several other veteran, out-of-work QBs. Looks like they settled on their man.

And while I don't particularly care for Vinnie Testaverde, at least he's a smart game-manager, should god-forbid anything happen to Brady. (Although I believe Cassel will stay at #2).

There's nothing to read into this signing other than obtaining depth at a position they previously were going without.
