You are on the honor system. No Googling... No looking up the answer.

Who was the first running back in NFL history to surpass 1,000 yards rushing in each of his first three seasons?

Have at it.

anyone do it before kelly?
As in Leroy? No.
so that's it then?
No, nobody did it before him, and no, HE did not do it either.Leroy Kelly

But "his first three years starting" wasn't the question. ;) No to E.D.

think I just found it, but I had to cheat. I'm not sure I would have ever guessed this name without cheating.

That's why I thought it was such a good question. It surprised me as well, even though he was a very good player. Thanks for being honest.

First of all, "that dude that played for green bay--late 60s" was not his name, nor did Brockington play in the 60's.But thanks for being a jerkoff and ruining it for everyone else after you took your 50 incorrect guesses. You should be proud.

john brockington, green bay1971-1973

that's the right answer. the early 70s were remembered as being part of the 60s anyway. i didn't ruin anything, i got it right and you told me it was wrong

Sorry, "that dude that played for green bay--late 60s" is still the incorrect answer. You could have meant Jim Taylor for all I knew.

jesus christ--if i had said "that dude that ran for the detroit lions in the 90s" and the correct answer was barry sanders, would you have assumed i meant derrick moore?i remembered brockington as having a great start to his career and then flopping, but i couldn't remember his name. at least i knew who the guy was.

why are you in the closet, raiders?

Since Jim Taylor had five 1,000 yard seasons in the 60's playing for the Green Bay Packers, and Brockington did not play for the Packers in the 60's, I submit that most people would have assumed that's who you meant, despite your extreme analogy.

That is who he meant, now he's trying to play it off.Adrian Murrell?

taylor was done by '66. I said late '60s. and forgive me if i, like every other person on the planet, remember the early 70s as being part of the 60s. you're just pissed cause someone actually knew the answer to your game there.

yeah, it's a mother####er when someone gets the answer right. i guessed it, he told me it was wrong, i looked it up, and i was right. so what the ####?

We, evidently, attended different schools.

I do not agree with Imp's approach but I agree with the underlying idea. You did NOT get the correct answer, I thought you meant Taylor and so did anyone who read your post. I do not see that you have any reason to lie, unless you are a dateless, friendless, sad, lonely, bitter little-boy, so you probably did intend to say Brockington but you did not say Brockington, or any name for that matter, and there is no reason for anyone to think that you did. That dude who played for GB in the late 60s??

You might as well have said

That guy who played football for that team back then and was really good.

 harrier's defense.
