I can't see him as more than a short-term fit. Jax is committed to Poz, Session (unless his concussion is career ending which I doubt) and D. Smith (who could be flushed after the season). They are turning over to a new coach so anything could happen but I would expect that marginal guys who the team isn't invested in could be gone ie Allen.Probably 1 year value in deep leagues but doubt there is much long-term value here

Allen has had multiple chances to impress this coaching staff. They've yet to give any indication that they see him as a long term answer, including spending lots of money at the position this offseason. He may continue to have some matchup value over the next three weeks, but he's extremely unlikely to have a starting job in 2012.
