Sacks (1 Viewer)

What about "sacks" where the pass-rusher knocks the ball out of the QB's hands? Plays like these are recorded as a sack and a FF, but the QB doesn't actually get "tackled" as we know it.

All interceptions are pd. Some fantasy website won't update it live durinf the game (yahoo for one) but it will be added when the scores are adjusted.

I have been watching play by plays during the games for over 10 years now and you pick up some things:

1. All sacks are solo tackles

2. All half sacks will result in a half sack and assist tackle awarded to both participating players.

3. All int are pd

4. When a scorekeeper is scoring tackles with multiple players involved....if there is a comma between the player names in the play by play then the 1st player listed will get a solo and then second one listed an assist. However, if there is a semicolon then both players get assists.

An example of the "semicolon" approach is the Pats games. Someone like Merriweather (or Bruschi before him) will end up with a near 1:1 ratio of solos to assists.
