Saints @ Vikings (1 Viewer)

Bradford has made some ridiculous throws. He's a statue and a throwback type QB, but give him some guys that can catch and time and he can make some eye popping passes.
O-line has been his problem his entire career. I think that has unfortunately also molded his mindset to his dink and dunk style we see today. But the dude has the talent of a #1 pick....when his line gives him an average amount of time in the pocket.

Where the heck did the Saints O go? I wasn't expecting this kind of train wreck
Basically the talk in New Orleans this year will be whether they use the number one overall pick or trade down for more picks.  The Patriots may score 72,000 points against them next week.

thanks to those 2 or 3 who convinced me to keep Diggs for a 6th... I owe you this win. you know who u are

nice to see I wasn't completely wrong about thielen. but Diggs looks like all of us hoped he was last year

What will be the projections for Brady next week against this D on a short week for the Saints and extra days for the Patriots?

This Saints pass D is even worse than last year. WR are wide open everywhere.
Guys that are looking at this as some kind of benchmark for the Vikings need to temper their expectations.....they are basically playing a high school team tonight.  Look at the Vikings completions, no one within 5 yards of the receiver.  This isn't a good offense, this is an incredibly bad historically bad defense.

Not getting over excited with the Vikings but they're at least getting the job done at home.

Payton is literally one of the worst coaches in the league

He'll ride the adrian peterson experiment all year to a 2.0 ypc average

He gave me a Saints Super Bowl win in my lifetime.  He has earned the right to coach as long as he wants.
It's thinking like that that allows some teams to do something one time and others to keep repeating it. You'll see the difference next week when the Saints play the Patriots. One team did something once and is resting on their laurels. The other just keeps making the necessary changes and keeps winning.

I don't mean that to sound harsh towards Saints fans. I get it. But I grew up as a Bears fan and suffered through that "did it once" mentality with Ditka and I look back at it now and think it was squander.  That team with that talent could have won another one or two but they did things one time and thought that was good enough and they just let everyone pass them by. And in the end it was almost a joke. It lessened what Ditka and all those players did do, somehow.

I would just like to see Brees be legit factors again and I just don't think the way Peyton is doing it, they ever will.
