I was unaware that you had insider info. That probably came off wrong, but I can't give a link when there are people telling me things from the field of Gillette Stadium. So if other "real" links state otherwise or these two get listed on the injury report in some other Belichickesque way, be prepared that they most likely won't play. Their condition could worsen to the point where they may be deactivated for Sunday altogether.I am the link.I usually hate doing this but do you have a link to this?*** UPDATE ***I have been told that Maroney and Jordan most likely WILL NOT be playing Sunday. Make plans accordingly.Any more insight on the availability of Maroney and Jordan? I'd like to sneak Morris into my line-up. TIA.Classic.....and true. Thanks for all the useful info on the Pats, I really look for nothing else but your updates...much appreciated.
They also resigned Eckel to the main squad, which should tell you something . . .
Maybe they make a remarkable recovery by the end of the day and get listed as merely questionable officially by the end of today, but I'm hearing that it's looking very unlikely that they will play against the Phins.

Meh, I am usually in the FFA and make infrequent visits to the SP. When I do, I am always weary because there are some poor quality posters in here.I was unaware that you had insider info. That probably came off wrong, but I can't give a link when there are people telling me things from the field of Gillette Stadium. So if other "real" links state otherwise or these two get listed on the injury report in some other Belichickesque way, be prepared that they most likely won't play. The plot thickensThe Patriots are holding their afternoon practice on the lower field behind Gillette Stadium, and notable was that RB Laurence Maroney (shoulder) was present, colleague Christopher Gasper reports.
Maroney had missed the team's last two practices, both of which were held in full pads.
Today's practice was held in shells (light shoulder pads) and shorts.
LB Eric Alexander (calf) was also present.
RB LaMont Jordan (foot) and WR Kelley Washington (ankle) were the players not spotted at the media-access portion of practice, which included stretching and special teams work.
Last week, both TE Benjamin Watson and WR Sam Aiken returned from injury to practice on Friday, but did not suit up in Sunday's game. So Maroney's return does not necessarily mean he will suit up Sunday against the Dolphins. link
I think his confusion was based on:1) Yudkin saidbeavers said:Meh, I am usually in the FFA and make infrequent visits to the SP. When I do, I am always weary because there are some poor quality posters in here. Now, back on topic...
(which implies inside info)and2) it was a FBG staffer making the post, not some random poster.Instead of asking for a link, why didn't you ask for his source? He wouldn't give it up, but at least we wouldn't have been confused by you asking for a link.I have been told
That's easy. Chris Johnson is playing in a division game against a team that has Mario Williams. Sammy came to New England from Miami, where he was ignored. Starting Bush here is obvious, but CJ/Sammy is a coinflip, imo.Hypothetically even if I knew beyond the shadow of a doubt that Maroney and Jordan would not suit up, even though they are playing Miami. There is no way I would start Morris over Reggie Bush or Chris Johnson. I have 4 of the 5 runningbacks I just listed. I like Morris a lot and have carried him for two years now. Sell me that I should consider starting him over a RB that is a virtual lock for a minimum of 15 to 20 points this week.Signed Confused
Woah, there...Chris Johnson? THE Chris Johnson. I don't know if you know this or not but Chris Johnson is the greatest RB ever. EV - ER! And Mario Williams is overrated. Seriously. He's not that good. He'll never live up to that #1 overall pick Houston spent on him. NE - VER! If you don't start Walter Payton Chris Johnson this weekend it's because you weren't shark enough to draft him in the first place."It's like playin' cards with my sister's kids or somethin'."That's easy.
