So exactly how many lightning strikes have hi the field the last 30 minutes? How many lives have been saved?

Ha ha.Yeah - the Fans don't have a "Union" to come after usTranslation: The fans can die since we've already got their money but get the players(cash cows) off the ####### field!Everyone stay in their seats but get off the field. Wtf?
Gotta face your fears or you'll never get over them.So people really don't understand the danger of lightening to a football game?![]()
I heard the announcers say they saw lightning just before the game was suspended.I was at the Bucs game today and they suspended it for an hour and I didn't see a single lightning bolt or hear any thunder...I get cautious but damn.

How does suspending the game protect the 80K fans?So people really don't understand the danger of lightning to a football game?![]()
It happened last week in Denver. If you are talking about in previous years, I don't remember any games being suspended for possible rain. Goodell should be beaten.Did someone get struck by lightning or something? I don't remember NFL games being delayed liked this season.
DD...there was one visable bolt before the suspension...and nothing after that. We were on the north edge of that storm according to radar...after 15 minutes it was obvious they could continue. We never left our spot. We donned ponchos and hung out and slammed beers. 95% of the stands emptied...we see these storms all the time...like I said, I get cautious but an hour + was ridiculousI heard the announcers say they saw lightning just before the game was suspended.I was at the Bucs game today and they suspended it for an hour and I didn't see a single lightning bolt or hear any thunder...I get cautious but damn.
How does suspending the game protect the 80K fans?Do they roll plastic bubble wrap over the stadium to protect the fans?So people really don't understand the danger of lightning to a football game?![]()
If you don't understand how lightning works (which it seems you don't), try reading this. There are reasons that you need to take cover in an open field, there are reasons there are lightning rods on buildings and in air fields. gllllllllI heard the announcers say they saw lightning just before the game was suspended.I was at the Bucs game today and they suspended it for an hour and I didn't see a single lightning bolt or hear any thunder...I get cautious but damn.

A ticket is a contract. The NFL does not have a contract with the fans. They cant make them leave their seats (and don't have room for them).
They "own" the teams and employees and can for e them to take shelter. its not that hard to understand they are protecting their investment.

I was at a Nats game this year when there was lightning and they made us all clear the stands. The stadium can do whatever they want, including making you leave the stadium altogether.Bb- they tell all the fans to take cover under the concourse. Of course, that gets packed like sardines, so we opted to ride it out in our spot in front of the pirate ship. No prob. It was fun except for the soaked shoes and socksI heard the announcers say they saw lightning just before the game was suspended.I was at the Bucs game today and they suspended it for an hour and I didn't see a single lightning bolt or hear any thunder...I get cautious but damn.

If they do a 360, what did they change?I imagine these weather delays will continue unless the networks say they don't like them. The NFL will due a 360 if dollars are at risk.
Evening gown competitions are worthless. Should just do an even skimpier swimsuit competition.
Oh hell no that's $$$ your talking about.Did they say if they were going to shorten halftime?
Everyone knows when you suspend play, the lightning automatically knows its not allowed to strike the stadium.I heard the announcers say they saw lightning just before the game was suspended.I was at the Bucs game today and they suspended it for an hour and I didn't see a single lightning bolt or hear any thunder...I get cautious but damn.

that's because the score was getting out of hand. this game is still close. no need for interference yet. That in your face talk was worth a flag in the Denver Game
