Scenes from tv that might maybe potentially make you tear up. (1 Viewer)

Six Feet Under - The entirety of the last 2 or 3 episodes or so.

Star Trek: DS9 - "The Visitor" - This episode won all kinds of sci-fi awards. You wouldn't think a Star Trek episode could make you tear up, but this one does it for me. Maybe has something to do with the fact that I lost my father at a young age. This is a fantastic episode.

24 - Season 2 when Jack thinks he is going to be the one to fly the plane with the nuke into the desert and he calls Kim.

Almost anything. America's Got Talent and Celebrity Apprentice (when they take the checks to the charities) are two very big offenders.

Honestly have a hard time thinking about, let alone watching, that last episode of SFU without getting a little misty.

Also, my wife and I have been watching Masterchef Junior and we come damn close every time one of those 8 year olds starts crying upon learning they got kicked off.

Breaking Bad when Walt is watching Walt Jr. from afar as he lives in that ####ty apartment and it's clear Walt knows this is the last time he'll see it.

That's about all I got.

Whenever a beer is dropped.

Whenever a gorgeous woman takes her clothes off but they don't show anything.

When Punky Brewster's foster dad got an ulcer and almost died and she had to go live with those terrible posh foster parents. Then she was reunited with her foster dad and it was so emotional.

Another vote for Six Feet Under, many episodes throughout the series and especially the finale.

Those ESPN bits on game day about kids battling cancer or other illnesses/disabilities get me every time.

Parenthood has a lot of raw life moments as well that get a little dusty.

In Boardwalk Empire when Harrow is walking up to his family farm in Wisconsin with everybody waiting on the porch for him.

Teddy Broooshi!!

The last couple of Episodes of Parenthood with Zeke's health issues have gotten me a little bit. He reminds me a lot of my Grandfather who I was very close to.

Bartlett giving Charlie the knife in Shibboleth. Landingham showing up to join Toby for the homeless Marine's funeral in In Exelsis Deo. Toby watching the vote in Mr. Willis of Ohio.

Nate's burying #### and Claire's goodbye in SFU.

Pretty sure that's it for me.

This one is oft overlooked, particularly because the last few seasons were meh. At the time it was a pretty significant deal and way they told the story was gripping

Season 3 of Friday Night Lights when Smash learns he's getting into college after all. He shows up at Coach Taylor's door, Coach hugs him- gets me every time.

Also the last episode of FNL when Coach tells Tami that it's her turn.

i don't remember him telling her it was her turn.

Best scene in the show is smash asking Taylor "why are you doing this for me?" "Because I need something good to happen." That one gets me.

Also, Tyra's letter to college. Can't believe I forgot that. When she reads that letter, that may be the best scene of all.

I don't watch all the shows that you guys do. I don't even know what some of them are. I listen way more to music with tv on in the background.

Only thing I can remember is that damn Fresh Prince episode when he dad visits and let's Will down again (from that no cry challenge a few years back IIRC)
