I was beginning to feel dumb expecting these to keep happening. Suspect still not in custody.

The shooting took place Tuesday afternoon at Fern Creek High School in Louisville. It was not immediately clear whether it happened inside or outside the school.

One student was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries, said Jody Duncan, a spokeswoman for EMA-MetroSafe. She said that at least one suspect was being sought.

The shooting prompted a lockdown at the high school and at an area elementary school. School officials were in the process of connecting students with their parents, she said.

geez.. at least it sounds like no one died and it wasn't one of those mass rampages.. still horrible.

I think we are getting past the "it only seems like its more frequent because of media coverage" argument.

These things are like monthly occurrences now....and that's with the over the top precautions put in place nowadays.
