8 teams have scored 30+ points so far today. Do you attribute any of it to the fiasco last week and the subsequent fines and suspension threats by the NFL?
I don't see the correlation here.8 teams have scored 30+ points so far today. Do you attribute any of it to the fiasco last week and the subsequent fines and suspension threats by the NFL?
Had that same thought in regards to the monster receiving numbers on the day.8 teams have scored 30+ points so far today. Do you attribute any of it to the fiasco last week and the subsequent fines and suspension threats by the NFL?
Same here. Haven't seen one time where it's been obvious.I don't see the correlation here.8 teams have scored 30+ points so far today. Do you attribute any of it to the fiasco last week and the subsequent fines and suspension threats by the NFL?
Well Mr Air, it would seem as though the offenive skill position player might have the upper hand at the moment. At the Mia/Pitt game today it didn't appear like the Steelers were hitting as hard and also there were times they could have lowered the boom and didn't. Then I look online and the Miami Pitt game was pretty lght scoring compared to many others.I don't see the correlation here.8 teams have scored 30+ points so far today. Specifically this...guys like Kenny Britt, Steve Johnson, Roddy White just taking a blowtorch to the secondaries.Had that same thought in regards to the monster receiving numbers on the day.8 teams have scored 30+ points so far today. Wasn't near a TV for the half time shows. Good info, gess they felt the same way. Let's take a passing league and make it even easier for them to throw the ball.CBS called that out at halftime of the early games. They showed three seperate incidents where defenders completely pulled up on potential ball jarring hits.
How does "lowering the boom" impact scoring? A tackle is a tackle -- you don't get less points if you get tackled harder.Well Mr Air, it would seem as though the offenive skill position player might have the upper hand at the moment. None of Roddy's catches today were in a spot where a defender could blow him up.Specifically this...guys like Kenny Britt, Steve Johnson, Roddy White just taking a blowtorch to the secondaries.Had that same thought in regards to the monster receiving numbers on the day.8 teams have scored 30+ points so far today. You are quite the student of the game.Football Night In America just discussed that James Harrison pulled up and did not hit Ricky Williams after a reception because he was worried about a helmet to helmet penalty. They showed the play and Ricky had full possession of the ball but Harrison avoided any contact with him anyways.
Just putting out what they talked about for discussion. You are quite the student of the game.Football Night In America just discussed that James Harrison pulled up and did not hit Ricky Williams after a reception because he was worried about a helmet to helmet penalty. Lot of fines being dished out today.Did the NFL suddenly reverse its stance on helmet hits, because this might be the lowest-scoring week in NFL history?
