Seahawks @ Atlanta (1 Viewer)

1 - They'll have to work on some double coverage with safety help, similar to what they did to Smith in the NFCCG in 05
That's a special memory. I remember them lining the OLB (D.D. Lewis?) on him just to hit him on every snap with a CB over the top. To be fair, that was a severely depleted CAR offense. Nick Goings and Brad Hoover in the backfield?
Yea, different team. Julio, roddy, gonzo, can't double all 3. They have to cut the head off the snake. Funny that this game will probably be a "bigger proving moment" for Matt Ryan then Russell Wilson....amazing really, but its the truth.

If I was Wilson I would maybe start throwing the ball to your most athletically gifted receiver (who happens to also be 6' 4") in the red zone. Why he insists on trying to force the ball to his small receivers is beyond me. Do the Seahawks know about the fade pattern?

Are all Seahawk fans insufferable idiots, or just the ones posting on message boards? Serious question.
No but they dominate the top 5 list of biggest tools in the pool.
Love it. Keep thinking this. We know you would have rather faced the skins. It is going to hurt when you lose next week. Serious post.
I think Bobby's a Lions fan. They may not be in the playoffs, but they beat us.

Yeah, on 4th and short. Way too often. For about a decade.

Sherman can handle whoever he's on for the most part one on one. Of course he won't win every battle, but they don't have to game plan to help him out. Key for this one will be the pass rush and Clemons' injury could prove huge.

I honestly don't recall a single Atlanta fan in the shark pool.
Give it time. They'll be in here talking about the Green Bay game shortly.
Or at least the Green Bay fans will show up in force to root against Seattle. I've said it many times. I think they got screwed on that Tate TD. I got called a doosh today by a Green Bay fan for saying that.
It was a terrible call. I think RG3 should be the rookie of the year and thought the spread was just about right in the WAS game, and I had some Redskins fan telling me I was everything wrong with Seahawks fans in that thread.

As an aside, I'm rooting hard for GB next weekend. Despite the gong show the pregame thread would be, they're the team I want.

I'm chalking it up to the "ITS effect".Seriously, I've been trying to figure it out. My best guess is that its an alias account created by someone over at :e: for the sake of entertainment. Seems plausible.

Nobody over there has the perseverance to pull that off. ITS is like a bulldog on adderall.

Poor form here.
OP is obviously a wanna be pats fan, but why is this poor form? Every game has had one so far. At least it gives one place to find all the premature rantings.
Pats fan? WTF are you talking about? Hawks beat the Pats. Go Hawks!
Poor form in the sense that the thread was started with more than 3 minutes left in the Seattle/Washington game when Washington still had the ball.

As a Packer fan I would love for Seattle to win as I think they are inferior to Atlanta is the Packers are good enough to win on Saturday. I don't think it will happen. I see Ryan with a big, big day. His first step in silencing critics.

Everyone there hates him passionately.

Would you like to try that again, but in English this time?

You aren't thought of too highly there either.

Clemons' agent says doctors think he has a torn acl. MRI on the morning. That's a big deal against a team that likes to chuck it.

Depends who it was...but wondering why it seems the Seahawk fans bring it up constantly...then the Packer fans get bashed for crying about it...when its rarely brought up by a Packers fan. Both still have work to do to get a rematch anyway.

:goodposting:People were willing to let Ryan postseason failures slide due to inexperience. Losing at home to a rookie QB in Wilson, it won't be the case this time. And it'll be time to wonder if he'll ever be able to win in the postseason (currently 0-3 in career)Ryan faces the most pressure of any player left IMO.

Don't think Id mind either.Seattle means getting them in GB...which is nice to do and a chance at redemption.ATL...I don't think a single Packer fears playing them or in their dome. That turf is perfect for GB's offense. Saying that...to get that to happen ATL will actually have to win a game giving them a bit of confidence they can do it. Id rather play Atl this round than SF to try and get to them before they have a chance to win one.No easy out at this point as GB has a lot to do just to get out of SF.

Used to be. Teamless at the moment. Really the Seattle team this year, had $$ on them today. Their fans - some of them - not so much. But it's just a handful that are insufferable, the majority (and people from the Pacific NW in general) are good people.I'm not P's bait, but ITS & the OP come to mind...I think Seattle can beat the Falcons. I don't see them winning in Lambeau, but that's the game I wnana see. If it's the 49ers, that would be epic as well.

You mean like sherman? ;) . Sorry, it was just sitting out there...made me think you wanted it....wait....did I just walk into a trap! :)Next weeks games are going to be freaking great! Hawks are the one road team that wins today and actually makes the divisional round MORE exciting! This tourney is shaping up nicely for us fans!

10/4, didn't realize that...should have realized there was something PE about it...my bad, and good call.

Atlanta should win. Seattle hasn't faced an average NFL passing attack, much less an above average one, in a long time.
Detroit, Dallas, New England? of which they won 2 out of 3
Most recent was Detroit, 10 weeks ago.If Detroit qualifies as average.

Sorry, but Seattle isn't going to get that far to face them in the Championship.

Schneider and Carroll have done a remarkable job with this roster.

Not only did they used to be bad, but even worse... they were boring. Now these guys are Must-See-TV.

Amazing transformation.

That's true. I actually like the Seahawks. Heck - Wilson is from Wisconsin so I almost have to root for him. Almost. If it wasn't for some dbag fans then I would gladly root for them (unless it's against GB, of course).

:goodposting: Thanks!! I hope the Raiders get back to dominance soon. I respect their fans and the team. GG fellow West coaster.
