Seahawks @ Chargers Game Thread (1 Viewer)

Nice pass for TD. Gay dance afterwards. : shock: What a loser

I know why did he dance after catching a pre-season TD?

Chargers D got walked over.

Alexander may be lucky to catch 10 passes this year.

I hate the green dot on the QB helmets. They should make it a standout color in the team's color scheme. Of course it fits the Seahawks, though I;d prefer the lighter blue instead.

Floyd is wide open and drops a perfect pass, and Madden starts talking about how the bigger San Diego WRs need to get more separation. Huh? He was wide open.

Not a good series for the San Diego WRs. 1st down: Davis fumbled an end around on 1st down. 2nd down: Floyd dropped a perfect pass that would have gotten a 1st down. 3rd down: Jackson fumbled fighting for extra yardage.

Is it just me or do the SD WRs look really unpolished?

Don't want to overreact: I know Davis is a rookie and it's the 1st preseason game.

Al Michaels got caught with his glasses on. He quickly removed them and looked pissed for the rest of the camera shot. The man needs to see a psych.

That was another pass to Weaver, another bad pass. Still waiting to see what he can do when they get the ball to him. Play should've never happened, the RG twitched and should've been flagged for false start.

Sproles is a quick little midget.
I'm hearing he's a longshot to make the team. He looked explosive on that play.
I'd be very surprised if he doesn't make the team.
Like I said...
I'm just telling you what the beat writer's closest to the team are reporting. His only chance, according to them is returns and he has trouble fielding punts. Cromartie has been better. Turner is returning kicks. I love Sproles. I think some team needs to exploit this guy. He's on my dynasty team. It's nice to see him making a couple plays in the first half.

No, they looked somewhat sloppy to me too.
Davis looks tentative which is udnerstandable, but Jackson and Floyd look sloppy and they shouldn't. There's a huge opening on this team for Davis to be WR1 as a rookie. I have been targeting him late in dafts.Naanee looks like a quality prospect. He was lost in a very busy offense at Boise St, but the size, speed, hands and toughness are all there.

Floyd just made 2 nice catches on this drive to make up for his earlier drop. He has a lot of potential.

I missed the game up to now...how do Dobbins and Cooper look?
Seattle rolled down the field on SD's #1 defense. There's been mass substitutions after that. Really very little to go on. Dobbins has 4 solos, but they're all 5-10 yards down the field. Waters came in at the start of the 2nd quarter and looked a little lost, but made a couple tackles when the play came his way. Cooper's been invisible. Also Seattle's D looked great.

Other than the missed tackles. But Turner and Sproles had a lot to do with that.

Might be a bit of an overstatement. Hasslebeck had a pass tipped at the line of scrimmage by Jamal Williams (who knew that fatso could jump that high?) that luckily ended up in the bread basket of an offensive lineman who carried it for a bunch of yards and a first down. Later, Hasselbeck threw an INT that was taken WAY back that got annulled by a ticky-tack foul. Seattle did move the ball pretty well, but they also got pretty dang lucky.

Agreed, but the td to Branch looked to easy. A lot of good fortune set that up.
