*****Seahawks vs Colts*****Official Thread (1 Viewer)

This should be a complete and total yawner. I can't think of one good reason why his game should be played.

I'm particularly interested in the Colts RB situation: how many reps will each back get, how do they perform with their touches (and against which defensive unit), and especially how Rhodes and Addai compare in their pass protection.

Nice balance by Rhodes. Looking like Addai will hve hard time taking that job if he plays like this during reg season.

Why is Addai ranked higher again?

I logged on for one reason -

To say Rhodes looks really, REALLY good. The stretch runs have been patient and decisive, and he caught a middle screen with 2 linebackers just about to crush him and put on a nice spin to get free and the first. He is doing alot of this on his own.

Clark is showing good hands.

Brief Reggie Wayne appearance, looked smooth as he caught and ran out of bounds.

Stretch to the left = :yes:Stretch to the right =
Indy left side of Oline looks very good.
run left = goodrun right = bad
:suds: :hifive:
I'm sure this has lots to do with the Indy OL and the Seattle DL, but Utecht is lining up on the left side (primarily a blocker) while Clark is lining up on the right side (primarily a pass catcher). Also: Rhodes is picking up the blitz well.

Rhodes looking great. Picked up a great block on a last-second Manning audible to allow the Clark completion. It's his job right now.

How is it that people say this Indy Oline is not top 10. Manning has all day to throw and the holes to the left side are huge. I've said it all offseason, Indy Oline is very good.

Hits Dallas Clark this time. Good pass rush pickup by Rhodes, saves Manning's bacon.
:goodposting: Probably the most important thing is his blocking looks great. That was kind of a harried last minute audible and he crossed to the other side of the field to pick it up (and pick it up well).

This could be one of the key factors in terms of which RB sees the field more often. And I'll continue to say what I started saying several months ago -- Rhodes could be this year's Mike Anderson, not in terms of total production but in terms of being a veteran everybody thinks will lose the starting job to the younger RB with more upside but ends up keeping the starting job all year long.

You should know Rhodes can pass block - it gave him an edge on mungro the year he started. But he's better now. I smell RB ala Lamont Jordan.2005 :excited:

sight seen - Engram playing the outside WR position??? He's not in the slot as many suspected he would be.

EDIT: Im a moron - D. Jack isnt playing - duh.

It's Rhodes job to lose.

Been saying it since the draft.

Reggie does look great.

Marvin and Wayne = Boldin and Fitz.

Pick your poison.

Colts offense isn't going to lose a beat this year - unless he gets hurt Rhodes is the man - period.

Upgrade Rhodes

Downgrade Addai

Curious whether Wayne is going to take the rpg lead this year from Marvin. Harrison did have elbow surgery in the offseason.....
