That means that young QBs starting their first playoff game on the road are 12-44. I'm not taking too much stock in it, because Russell Wilson doesn't look like the average young QB making his first playoff start. I just thought it was an interesting stat.Post Merger 1970 (all stats are from pro-football-reference)Quarterbacks (first 3 years of career) entering first playoff game starting:Record: 36-66Home Record: 24-22 (52%)
If I were a betting man I'd bet the rookies in the late game making their first playoff start are going to go .500 todaySaw this in the GG-SF thread:

[iTS] That's the dumbest thing I've ever read. [/iTS]If I were a betting man I'd bet the rookies in the late game making their first playoff start are going to go .500 today
Interesting stat, but agree, none of these 3 rooks are performing like we are used to seeing rookies perform.....dare I say exceeding expectationsSaw this in the GG-SF thread:

Update?Indy @ Balt, Cincy @ Houston or Minn @ GB is intriguing too?Easily? Have more rhetoric please.I'll take a guy who ran for over 400 yards against the Packers and and all world offense in GB over Seattle and Washington. This game you speak of will be the let down game of the weekend. Washington O with a banged up RG3 as you can clearly still tell against tough D, and Seattle O who did nothing against STL still doing nothing in cold weather against an improving D. Good game, yes, easily the most intriguing? NOIt's not just me, right? Is this not easily the most intriguing game of the opening weekend?
If I'm a betting man, I take Seattle and give the points. Seattle wins 24-13.
OK, I promised I would come in here and take my medicine if we lost. So, here I am. Congrats Seahawks. Good luck in the next round. As a Skins fan, I'm very proud of what they accomplished this year. They exceeding expecations going 10-6 and making the playoffs. Do wish they would have tried with Cousins earlier today. RGIII was too hurt to be out there. Not saying they would have won with Cousins but feel like they would have had more of a chance. But that's not to take away from Seattle. Good luck in Atlanta.
Glad there are 4 quarters.'burgundy and gold said:14 nuthin already. HA!!!
