What are your thoughts on him? Who else will catch balls in San Diego except Gates? He finished last season as the 18th best wr last year in my scoring system. Will he fall that much because of Rivers? San Diego homers...seeems like tremendous value to me

3rd WR good for a bye week replacement. Nothing wrong with taking a late round flier on him.

Largely on the strength of his career-high nine touchdown receptions, which he likely won't repeat.I think he'll be a good value in the later rounds again. But don't expect a top 20 finish.

If you're calling the 18th WR from lsat year a 3rd WR good for bye weeks, I think you're saying he'll see a pretty substantial drop-off.And I would agree. I don't think Rivers can just step in and be as effective as Brees was lsat year.

That being said, he'll probably be drafted at good value very late in drafts because of his age.

I could see him duplicating last years stats and get 900-1000 for 7-9 TDs. He has great hands, will abuse himself to make the catch and still has good quickness for an old guy, I don't see the drop off yet...
