Senior Bowl (1 Viewer)

Mort calling Cutler the #1 QB makes me laugh. Could be the dumbest statement I've heard in quite some time. Way to go ace.

Whitehurst severely outplayed Cutler today. Not even close.

Pathetic Senior Bowl Performance:

Cutler was just 6-of-19 for 69 yards and was intercepted in the end zone by Cedric Griffin of Texas to end the game's opening drive.

BTW: I'd move Dominique Byrd of Southern California up on the draft list. He looked great in practice and had a solid game (4 for 67).
Despite the drops, the ease with which Byrd got open downfield was impressive. I would rank him 3rd on my TE board right now behind Davis and Lewis. 2nd if you are looking for more of a 2 way TE behind Davis.
Lewis hurt himself this week...and Kiper thinks Byrd [before the game] had moved into 1st round contention. Right now, I would rank them...V. Davis

L. Pope

D. Byrd

M. Lewis
OK, which of these would be the best in FF terms? Is anyone of these the next Gonzo, Gates, or Shockey? Maybe this should have its own thread?
Vernon Davis is a special prospect, he's the guy that, as long as he's put into a decent offensive system, would be the guy to target heads and tails above the others.
Davis has the highest upside (think Ben Watson tools with the more physical presence of Crumpler), but Lewis looks like the kind of guy that will be a #2 target in a passing offense at worst, and the type that could evolve into a #1 target. I have Lewis at #6 in the post all star game rookie 100 (coming soon), and Davis at #9. Byrd could even end being the best of them all fantasy-wise because he seems like the most natural at doing damage downfield.
