Serpentine drafts are terrible (1 Viewer)

This year I am going with NFFC and passing on WCOFF for the simple reason that serpentine drafts are about as out of date as non-decimal scoring leagues.

I was curious why any legitimate high stakes league would still have serpentine drafts. Is there any preference in the shark pool between Banzai and 3rd round serpentine? I read a very good article by a staff member awhile back (sorry I'm too lazy to look, I believe it was Jeff P) and with most leagues using the "draft pick" calculator with trades....why on earth would anyone want in a serpentine?

convenienceif you really want a fair draft, you do an auction. banzai/3RR and the like are ultimately gimmicks - they surely make a traditional draft more fair, but if you're willing to take that step you should be willing to do an auction IMHO

WCOFF really needs to switch auction leagues, at least for the leagues that draft in Vegas. It only makes sense since all the owners there in person anyway.
