Sure but this isn't about taking the gimmies...in a lot of ways that deebo miss was a gimme...little bit more air, little bit more towards the middle of the field and he strolls in

I read that the reasoning behind that was supposedly to get 3 more points on the board in what was a loss, because points scored in NFC games could be a playoff tiebreaker down the line. I still chuckled when it happened though, knowing what the spread was.
