Personally I could care less about a board members search function capabilities. I just saw Yitbos69 throwing out the liar thing at fred_1_15301 & was only trying to play peacemaker before it got into some kind of flame war. We're a bunch of frustrated SA owners who may turn out to be the "Bust of The Year" and you guys are worried about search functions.Maybe rawdog just isn't very proficient at using the search function? So are you saying that rawdog is a liar?I think his point is that if he really did a search on Alexander threads, he would have found that one. Personally, I think it's a good point.....What's your point? He said he did a search and could not find the thread.I guess you missed "*** SHAUN ALEXANDER THREAD *** " directly under yours![]()

(KFFL) Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports Seattle Seahawks RB Shaun Alexander (foot) underwent X-rays Monday, Oct. 31, on his injured foot. The tests showed Alexander's foot was not healing the way the team expected it to and was only 70 percent healed. Alexander sent the pictures to a foot specialist in Dr. James Andrews' office for a second look. Both the Specialist and the Seahawks told Alexander it would be all right if he begins running in a straight line this week, but he has not been cleared to begin cutting on that foot. Alexander is scheduled to undergo another X-ray earlier this week to see if he could return to practice.
Yea. Now we need some sort of "Tool Filter" or "####### filter". The ingore feature just doesn't seem to cut it most of the time. This board has a search functionPersonally I could care less about a board members search function capabilities. As a Seahawks fan and an Alexander owner in one league, i guess this is good news compared to everything else that's going around. Been a tough year. After the look, however, both the specialist and the Seahawks told Alexander it will be all right if he begins running in a straight line this week. They had not, as of Sunday morning, cleared him to begin cutting on that foot. He is slated to take another x-ray either Monday or Tuesday to see if the foot had healed more and if he could return to practice.
why the f0ck is he always jumping aroundMike Holmgren told Peter King that his "gut feeling" is that Shaun Alexander will be ready to play against the Rams.
Holmgren sounds like he's getting annoyed at the situation. "It's been going on seven weeks with Shaun. Last week, he's jumping up and down, feeling good, no pain, but he couldn't get clearance," Holmgren said.

Great news...please post any updates as you hear them...thanks...Alexander said in an interview last night during Monday night football that the MRI results were the best yet and showed healing on the outside. He is referring to the outside of the bone. The bone has been healing from inside out, thus the discouragement last week when the crack was still visible. He will undergo another test this morning and we should know if he's cleared this afternnon.
Seahawks: Alexander to miss another game?
The News
Seahawks head coach Mike Holmgren told Seattle radio station KIRO on Tuesday that he has a feeling Shaun Alexander will miss one more game because of his broken foot, according to the Seattle Times. "That's just the feeling I get," Holmgren told the station.
Our View
Holmgren told the station that is the vibe he is getting from team doctors. Alexander had more tests done on his foot Monday and we'll know more about the situation later today.
Well, we have 2 sources which are directly conflicting with each other and Alexander himself being positive.Who knows....but we will this afternoon.War Eagle, et al.
I just saw this on fanball.com, it indicates the opposite, namely that it looks like Alexander won't play. I'm sure Hasselbeck and Alexander will be back Week 11 however to trounce my 49ers.![]()

Well it is a good size gut to hold all those feelings....Holmgren sure does have lots of feelings![]()
What gives you this idea.. Sound like Seattle is expecting him backby the 22nd game against Minnesota..You heard different or just a gut feeling it is much worse than expected...Personally I think Shawn is done for this year or at best he'll play but not be a worthy starting fantasy back.Still out AND for another week. It never makes sense to say your stud RB will be out the whole season or if he comes back will be ineffective. I still stand by my statement, he's done for the year but if he does come back people will start him and get burned.
Why?This may be a tangeant but it might be worth mentioning. Since this injury is taking longer than originally expected, has anyone asked Shaun if he is losing faith in the power of prayer? Apparenlty he was ready to miss zero time becuase o fhte power of prayer. Now that the injury is still healing slow, no mention of the devine intervention. Just a little curious, that's all.
I believe it was an x-ray, not an MRI. He did not sound confident to me that he would be cleared to play.Alexander said in an interview last night during Monday night football that the MRI results were the best yet and showed healing on the outside. ESPN News is reporting that they are still awaiting the results of his MRI!! WTF Holmgren just yesterday he seemed confident that SA might play this week!! I was doing great in my league until SA went down then Fitz. I need you guys to at least get me a playoff spot now!!Shaun Alexander-RB- Seahawks Nov. 7 - 1:59 pm et Coach Mike Holmgren admitted on his radio show Tuesday that Shaun Alexander will likely miss another game.He hasn't seen the results of Alexander's most recent tests, but the "vibe" from doctors indicate Alexander will miss another game. "That's just the feeling I get," Holmgren said. We've got some bad vibes that Alexander won't return in time to save most of his fantasy owner's playoff hopes.Source: Seattle Times
Just listened to the Seahawks press conference...........no Alexander again this week.![]()

tough question. He'll be 30 at the start of next year with probably only 2 years left in the tank. I'd put him in the 8-10 range among RBs.Where would you guys move SA against his current dynasty ranking if you don't consider this year into the equation? This would be a good excercise for those of us who may not make the playoffs anyway now.
Think Oakland's just that bad. They just wanted the game over so they could go home.Anyone watch the monday night game? Is it a sign that the o-line is starting to improve as MoMo ran for 130 yards against oakland? Might be a glimmer of light in this otherwise dark thread.
