Show me a better stiff-arm than this (1 Viewer)

I know that Corey Dillon has had a few beauties in his day, but this one kills:

HEARST

It just happened to occur during one of the best runs in NFL history on the same play.

Who was the Jets defender who got  by the stiff-arm on the 20 yard line?
RN, I'd swear you posted a sweet highlight of Earl Campbell with a huge stiff arm then bowling someone over. I thought it was you."ring any bells"?

Wasn't me, bro.

Some great entries here. But I still have to give the nod to Hearst's run; the stiff-arm itself wasn't as powerful as some of the others posted, but that run is such a beautiful combination of vision, moves, power, and speed. And it was 95 yards to win it in overtime; it's tough to think of many runs in NFL history with that combination of aesthetics and impact. (Marcus Allen's cutback TD comes to mind).

 I remember that Hearst run too. I was winning huge in FF that week and lost becuse of that run. :shock:ETA - yeah, the other stiff arm was better. I seem to emember a stiff arm by Jim Brown that was awsome too - but I ain't looking for it.............
I must have been playing against you that day...I was sitting there getting a decent beating and this 4 o'clock game was coming to a close. It looked like it might go to overtime and I thought, well I might get a few more points but that was about it. I was watching the play and got so excited I think I threw my shoulder out trying to help Hearst run down the field. About the 30 of the Jets, I knew I needed a TD to win it and as I cheered and lumbered across my living room like a man with his hair on fire, I can remember thinking thank God he fell into the endzone because at least I can cherish this victory as I wait for the ambulance...I still can't understand why my wife doesn't get FF...

I like this one the best.On a sidenote: although praising TO on these boards is not often welcome, how about his sprinting up the sidelines and battling against the Jets secondary. Without him Hearst doesn't score.
