I was walking around getting pooped on today and listening to my Spotify list of favorite songs. I just put stuff on there when I think of it; it is not comprehensive. Anyway, with each artist that came on you hadn't covered yet, I found myself wondering if and hoping that you'd have them on here. That led to my deciding to put together a list of the artists that I hope you will have on here, and I'll check them off as you do.

The out of tune piano, the flange effects and chord similarity make it seem almost backwards to me.
Was there actually any backwards tape playing on it? I'm not really sure.

It was on their first album before they had ossified their sound. Once "Let It Ride" and (especially) "Takin' Care Of Business" hit and sold a bazillion records, they knew which side of the bread was buttered.

This has been my taunt song - sports, games, social burns of course and, most famously, at poker tables throughout the land. It's usually I AM THE GOD OF HELLFIRE AND I BRING YOU.....!!!!, but i'll do "fire, i bid you to burn" and/or the scream (i can achieve it on heavy amounts of stimulants, my throat will explode if i attempt words, tho) if so inspired (and the opponent is agitated enough by it).
ETA: Arthur Brown was a HELLA opening act backinday. He was tired & we were tired of him after 40 mins, so it was perfect.

did a 2wk - been away - scan of titles, gave out a buncha likes & loves. skipped a lot of obvious L&Ls of great songs if it wasn't close to the artist's best or titans like Charles, Waits, Presley, Taylor etc were ranked insultingly low.
going back to a springish writing project i began last year soon and i will be using shuke's 1000 as my work soundtrack so i can grok the stuff i'm not familiar with. good project -
