The beaches on the Atlantic side don't measure up to those on the Gulf side and certainly not to Siesta Key.

It's funny cause I live on the gulf side and miss the waves on the East Coast. I swear, sometimes the Gulf water is like swimming in a lake.

That's not a bad thing unless you're a teenager. Also, the beaches on the Atlantic side have too many rocks and the water isn't as pretty.

I guess it depends on how you look at beaches. They're all different. I love the Atlantic side myself.
