Silicon Valley - New Mike Judge 8-Part HBO Series (1 Viewer)

I really hate to further dilute the Silicon Valley thread with a ranking system of funniest episodes/scenes in comedy television...however, I can't help but insist that "The Office" safety training episode, "Stress Test" be included.  Dwight does the fire drill and gives Stanley a heart attack and then demonstrates on that dummy...good Lord...that destroys me at my core.  Hilarious.

Also..."Community" episode of "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons" cracked me up endlessly.  "As fat as Fat Neil..."

Someone setup a thread...let's get this discussion rolling...maybe a poll at the end of the rainbow.

That episode made up for the last one.

Octopus, and all of Jin Yang

Dinesh as the CEO, all of it

Focus Group

Season Premiere had me worried we jumped the shark here, but I still think they've got another 1-2 seasons of good life here.

Partially paraphrasing because it's been a few days...

Jared: "We can't talk business. We can talk about other things guys talk about. Sports teams, and their scores...

...

...

...

P*ssy..."

:lmao:   :lmao:   :lmao:

All the characters are so dialed in at this point. They have probably 5-6 people they can have carry long parts of an episode.

this last episode was cash. I could watch CEO Dinesh and his hair, talking like a smarmy doosh and buttoning/unbuttoning his jacket all day.

and Jin Yang wrote an app for 8 octopus recipes!!!  :lmao:

after Richard comes in and has the exchange with the group playing "always blue," Big Head say something like, "I'm gonna go Skype my dad".

was that a subtle show of allegiance, in that because Richard could no longer use his own algorithm that Piper Chat is based on, Big Head wasn't going to use it either? and borne out later when he offers Richard his own login?

or maybe just a screw up in continuity. i dunno. found it odd.

Maybe his dad just doesn't have Piper Chat or uses a system that doesn't support the app.

Dinesh: "Do you think I have too much product in my hair?"

Gilfoyle: "No. I think you should use more."

Dinesh: "Are you saying that to make me look better or worse?”

Gilfoyle: “Which answer will get more of that stuff into your hair?”

Big Head's dad was way outside the Piper Chat user demographic.

Great episode. I had to rewind the octopus scene. It sure looked like that was a scene that had to be shot a few times. Miller looked like he was having a hard time containing laughter.

It's a water animal.  :lmao:

Gilfoyle's wry smile whilst sipping champagne during Dinesh's breakdown  :lmao:
I saw that too. As Jared told Dinesh he was personally responsible, the grin on his face got bigger. Easy to miss, but hysterical if you saw it. Focus group too. Did anyone else feel nervous at the login page?

"What do you mean it's a half a million dollar palapa?"

"Erlich, is your refrigerator running? This is a-Mike Hunt and he's a-rich."
