Sites with best waiver policy? (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

I am looking to run my first league this year with my buddies. One of the big priorities is that we want a free site that puts players on Waivers from Sunday to Tuesday(So that no one can run and pick up someone who did amazing on Sunday). We would rather use waivers as the priority for picking up players.

Any sites you know that do this? I know Yahoo doesn't and has all players as free agents. But what about ESPN, Sportsline, or any other free league site?

Thanks for your help

we used AOL last year because it's free and really liked their waivers setup. basically, it's totally customizable .. we were able to set up the time at which waivers ends, which doesn't seem like a big deal, but if you want to make free agency fair to all, you need to pick a time that's fair to everyone. we had our deadline set for 9pm so that everyone had a fair chance at whoever was left over after the waiver period (we had free agency start immediately afterward). When FA started at 9pm, there was a lot of activitiy because then you could pick up a player w/o losing your waiver rank.

anyway, this year we switched to CBSSportsline, which is a paid site and setting the waiver deadline time is NOT an option. it automatically ends at midnight and the time can not be adjusted. so whats going to happen is that whoever is able to get online at like 2am is going to be able to get first picks at the free agents that are available then. i wish CBSSportsline would make the time more customizable. i mean, they charge a fee but don't offer the same options of a free site? why? :goodposting:
