Day after the all star game is the slowest sports day of the year. Sports center is even more of a steaming pile of garbage than usual. Not sure what the sports betters do to get by on this day. Euro Cricket?

Plan to acknowledge my wife and children. Maybe grill something up. Do a little yardwork. Sit on the porch. Pound a half dozen beers.

If you are really on the ropes just remember British Open coverage starts 4 AM on Thursday.

There are eleven UFC bouts scheduled on Fox Sports 1. It's UFC Fight Night 45 coming to you live from Atlantic City. First fight is scheduled for 6:00 PM EST between two chicks on UFC.tv. The Fox Sports 1 coverage starts at 6:30 and runs through what will probably be midnight EST.

i handled for the philly rage in the 90's. once at a tourney in lehigh we met the national/world champs, new york. they were split in two, stoners/nonstoners. we gave the nonstoners a good game playing against their zone. i threw several scores and beat my entire team in disc golf that evening. they had to call me 'king' for a week. there was an ex eagle db on our squad. he could run and jump but couldnt throw very well.

i also went to worlds in 96.
