I’ve never seen a year where so many players have had serious toe issues. Scrolling the artist formerly known as rotoworld’s news feed, there are 3 new toe injuries and one re-injured (Purdy). Burrow is out for the year, and it seems like more and more pop up every week.

It’s like a league created by Quinten Tarantino or something.

Any guesses as to the increase in toe injuries? Or is this like the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon (AKA blue car syndrome) where we’ve seen a couple significant ones so we notice the others more?

Or is there an issue with the turf, or cleats that needs to be addressed? Just seems like a lot is all.
