It seems teams are more than ever, willing to give the #2 guy a shot. I think perhaps a trend could be forming, curious if there is any empirical data to back this up. Injuries are one thing that do play heavy into it, but it just seems coaches/owners/fans are more open to seeing if the #2 can spark the offense and run with it.
