So what are the chances Reid unleashes Vick for the rest of the season (1 Viewer)

All this talk of Reid and Vick on the hot-hot seat, Reid finally fires his DC(whom should have never had that job in the first place), taking over playcalling--all this is kinda making me think he starts throwing caution to the wind with Vick. I noticed Vick had his biggest rushingk day of the year last game.

They seem to have been trying to turn Vick into a pocket passer to keep him healthier. I think they made a bad move there, because Vick had been in more peril and has sustained more injuries inside that porous Philly pocket than I think he would have outside of it. But I'm starting to sense desperation from Reid, which has me thinking he says f' trying to protect Vick and instaed goes balls out to win games. Which means Vick tries to put his cape back on.

In the interest of full disclosure, of course I'm a Vick owner, but I also have Romo and have been trying to trade Vick away for a few weeks. I'm not trying as hard now, though.

Anybody else seeing this as a likely scenario?

(Rotoworld)Coach Andy Reid reiterated that Michael Vick is his starting quarterback "right now."Analysis: When making the Juan Castillo announcement, Reid said there will be other changes. The starting quarterback position won't be one of the them right now even though Vick has 13 turnovers in six games. Still, Vick's leash won't be long with Reid's seat piping hot. ESPN's Sal Paolantonio suggested Tuesday morning that promoting rookie Nick Foles to the starting lineup could be the "next shoe to drop." Vick is fantasy's No. 11 quarterback as he heads into the bye.
(KFFL)Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid said the decision to fire defensive coordinator Juan Castillo was his alone, and he hinted that more changes might be coming. Reid continues to say that QB Michael Vick is the starter "as I sit here right now." "I'm going through and evaluating our football team, both coaches and players. This is one of the moves. We'll see where this goes from here," said Reid, who said firing his loyal assistant of 14 years was "one of the tougher things I've had to do."
he might unleash him, alright....

I see him unleashing McCoy more than anyone else. I expect a lot of carries, but more importantly a move towards screen plays in space ala Bwest in his 2000+ yfs seasons.

:goodposting: Right now Reid won't guarantee Vick's his QB in week 8. He's still "evaluating". My guess is Vick has 2 more games to stop turning the ball over, against the Falcons and the Saints.
