So who do you like more? J Lewis or F Taylor (1 Viewer)

Not a lot of chatter about Jamal Lewis - his backfield is as crowded as any -

I want to like him, but I find myself gravitating to Fred Freaking Taylor

Thoughts?

Well, with Jones going down, it's just Drew and Toefield to compete for carries. If Fred stays healthy (big if), he could do allright this year. I wouldn't give him top 15, but he'll be fine.

I had the same dilema in my draft yesterday with Gore thrown in as well and I took Lewis. I just feel good about him this year. Not sure why though. Im trying to decide if I should pick up M Smith as backup. Someone drafted Anderson

Lewis needs to quit running like a big fat sissy woman. What the hell is up with the tippy toe crap last year?

I really like Gore now that Barlow is gone....but Jamal's hip injury has me concerned. Although he got his money I don't think they will hesitate to sit him down with M.Anderson and M.Smith showing they are more than capable.

"This season he can just go out and play football and get back to being that dominant back again."Lewis' ankle feels healthy 19 months removed from what Villani called "Curt Schilling surgery" — referring to the Boston Red Sox pitcher."Nobody really knows Jamal had the same surgery Curt Schilling had to reattach an ankle tendon," Villani says. "Jamal never used it as an excuse when everybody said, 'He looks like he's pitter-pattering.' exerpt from usa today artical last week.

I like Jamal Lewis alot this year. Last season was a miserable failure for him, and with a decent QB at the helm he should find more running room. If he's healthy, I could easily see 12-1300 yds and 8 TDs for him.

I don't think McNair is going to revive that offense. And if he does, all it will do is expose Jamal Lewis. I don't think he's that good anymore.

No, Lewis has not sunk this low. You'd be a fool to take Fred Taylor anywhere in teh vicinity of Lewis.Just my :2cents:

We'll find out soon enough. Even though he's not as dominant as he used to be, McNair's a step up from any QB Lewis has had in the last five years, and it's not like Lewis is 30 years old. Perhaps he has lost it, but I think he's going to surprise people this year - the guy was running on one foot all last season, and his career average is 4.4, which is pretty gaudy considering last year's sub 4ypc disaster is factored in. I've been wrong before, but I like him to have a pretty nice rebound year.

Ugh. I don't want anything to do with either of these over the hill players unless they are backups on my team. Reach out and get Gore instead if he's around.

Jamal Lewis just looked DONE to me last season. Taylor has been done as a fantasy starter for a couple years now.

I have FT as my RB3 and had an offer for him in exchange for Jamal Lewis... Lewis would have become my RB2 - for the Dallas RBBC - and I passed... considered counter offer with FT for Lewis but decided to sit pat with Fred....I think Lewis is done and FT will out perform him - O

J.Lewis >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> F.Taylor

This isn't even the same ballpark.
