Some shark type questions (1 Viewer)

1) Biggest question on my mind, and its a dynasty question. Brandon Jacobs- What am I missing? Most of my Giant friends are resigned to him being gone next year. Even if they have to franchise him, I don't see it as much more than a $7 Mil deal. What am I missing? Why cut him loose so easy?

2) I made a big long post on a Brown's message board about a player that plays with heart, if you were gonna rank your favorite team, who would top the list in that category.

3) There are more o-line injuries this year than I can ever remember, please tell everyone how injuries are effecting your favorite team's o-line.

4) This season seems a lot simpler for me and I don't know why, if anybody has an idea why this season seems simpler or harder for you please post here.

5) Does anybody else think that a lot fewer teams will be holding out players in the fantasy play-offs this year?

6) Ask the question that I should have asked in this spot. I'm kinda going on the "I don't know what I don't know" theory.

Pretty boring questions, but I think everyone could get a lot out of them.

4. Matchups have been more predictable, with some VERY bad defenses. There are not that many every-week-start studs...this should make it harder to set lineups, but I think it means fewer teams are absolutely dominating.5. Fewer totally dominant teams means alot of teams still hanging around .500, so they'll have to play all the games to get byes/homefield worked out...fewer starters will sit until that is done.

1.) I agree they should keep him. He has been as valuable as anyone else on that team this year.

2.) Jamie Winborn has stepped up and played with a lot of fire and emotion as anyone else. Spencer Larson, Eddie Royal and Peyton Hillis make the list too.

3.) Starting center has been out since before the season started but Wiegmann has stepped in and been fine so far.

4.) Simpler maybe because I have drafted better and matchups have been easier to assess going into the games.

5.)Don't know but I hope so since I am depending on CJ3

Cant see it happening. He is a stud, and despite Ward and Bradshaw having success, I think most of that is b/c Jacobs opens up the game so much.

Dunno, as much as I hate to say it, probably the Steelers. I hate them, but they seem to outplay their talent almost every year.

Bengals O-line is decimated, between the last couple years letting Willie and Steinbach go and the miriad of injuries this year, they really have no shot, especially with a green QB

As the previous poster said, seems to be a lot of bad D's out this year. Though I must say that can bite you when you have a deep roster and sit someone for matchups

Seems only a couple teams are in position to hold players out. I dont think this will be a big factor in fantasy save a couple teams.

1. They have quite a few RB's that are posting just as dominate numbers as he is...with that said, however, I don't see why they wouldn't franchise him. I'm sure they will.2. Terrell Owens. I may catch some crap for that, but I guess it also depends on your definition of "plays with heart". Watch Dallas games, Owens blocks efficiently and puts every effort he has into the game. Even when he was going through that Eagle's saga, I remember seeing him working out in his yard during an interview (kinda funny, but showed dedication to me) It seems to me that winning a superbowl and being the most dominant player at his position is what TO cares most about...

3. The Jags are hurting pretty badly, but other than that I think O-line injuries are same as always.

4. Its simpler because there are no "Dominant Studs" really. LT?...Down to average. SJax?...Needs motivated by a great team it seems, nagging injuries and not playing thru them. Peyton Manning?...Posting average numbers this year as well. In most my leagues Warner, Portis, and Boldin lead their positions...but all have a very minimal lead and there are quite a few players bunched together in the middle.

Saw this on Rotoworld today - thought it was pretty interesting:
Impending free agent Brandon Jacobs is confident that he'll be back with the Giants next season, but he assumes Derrick Ward will sign on as a starter with another team.

Jacobs said "it hurts" that Ward will depart, but he's happy that Ward will get paid in a starting role elsewhere. He added that Ward reminds him every day of their future paychecks, which means the Giants would be down to Earth and Fire next season.
