Someone should release a FF dynasty draft magazine (1 Viewer)

About 20 different redraft based magazines are released every year before fantasy draft time. Someone should release a dynasty based magazine. It would have more staying power than the magazines that are outdated shortly after publication. An IDP section would be great too. Make for some good bathroom material.

This is a good idea. It could be a monthly magazine that I would subscribe too.....(wink wink FBGs)

I actually had a subscription to Becketts Fantasy Monthly magazine and they folded. I guess they didnt have enough to write about every month. Now they just do 4 mags a year all around draft time.

:goodposting: I like it and I would buy it.

We've talked about this - more like a "newsletter" than a magazine though. Thanks for the heads up about the interest. Youll definitely see more dynasty content here during the offseason than anywhere else on the innerwebs. Beaumont's point is a good one - Why print when you can distribute easier online?

Biggest problem with magazines is the print lead time, which usually means the magazine arrives on the shelf a month or more after it was written. One might think that dynasty information doesn't change as much as redraft (e.g. less concern about short term injuries), but dynasty players tend to play at a higher level. Last month's news doesn't cut it.

 dont worry folks, youll be better off with our real time coverage than you would be if we did a magazine for this very reason.

hey Bloom do you guys do a basic stock up, stock down monthly on dynasty players? Just Curious. Honestly I was thinking of buying a subscription to this site but afraid that I would get the same thing I'm getting for free. Dont sell me, just inform me. TIA

"hot off the presses" down? Dodds could have a magazine party and everyone could pick one up. Everyone would get drunk and brag about how many leagues they won and....it'd be a good time.

Starting this season, I'll be doing a weekly article explaining changes in my rankings that will be subscriber material. Once things calm down, We'll have a set agenda for dynasty coverage for the next year.Keep the ideas coming people! We want to provide only the best for y'all.

Bloom and I are talking about this, most likely next week, about how to better express our Dynasty Rankings. We're hammering out how to do present the info in a workable format, but I think it will be quite valuable.

The biggest thing I would want to see change and I think you are already going to do it is to put an arrow by the ranking to tell us if you have the player moving up or down. I also would not mind if you had a little comment next to the player every once in awhile. All of these suggestions are for the dynasty ranking pages. You guys do a great job talking about dynasty and I think this is the best format for fantasy football.

Hard to say it will be valuable if you continue to put Plaxico Burress behind guys like D.Branch and D.Carr...ohhhh...:rimshot: :goodposting:

I agree it would be nice to see what player are moving up and which are moving down( and a note or two on why).....Also it would be nice to have tier's.
