Songs that need to be played together (1 Viewer)

Yes. That is a great 80s album. I know Henley and the Eagles aren't considered cool but I don't even see those haters.

Jackson Browne Load Out/Stay
For sure.

Led Zeppelin II:  Heartbreaker --> Living Loving Maid

The Cars:  You're All I've Got Tonight --> Bye Bye Love

Prince:  When Doves Cry --> I Would Die 4 U --> Baby I'm a Star
Yes, yes and yes.

My true favorite

Van Morrison: Streets of Arkow/You Don't Pull No Punhes but you Don't Pull the River

Yeah, they definitely have a bunch of songs that bleed into each other. They've actually always reminded me of a punk rock Who.
Self Titled into Going to Pasalacqua.  Judge's Daughter into Paper Lanterns.  Chump into Longview was mentioned earlier.  I think the last 3-4 on both Dookie and Insomniac were precursor's to what they did on Idiot.  Stuck With Me into Geek Stink Breath.  Brain Stew/Jaded was already tossed out there.  Hitchin' a Ride into The Grouch is a good one.  But eventually they just started blending those hybrid songs together - Jesus of Suburbia, Homecoming, and American Eulogy.  Others on Idiot were also combo'd - Holiday into Blvd, The Waiting into St Jimmy, Novacaine into Rebel, and Extraordinary Girl into Letterbomb.  It wasn't as overt on breakdown, but similar arrangements were done with Lobotomy into Inferno, East Jesus Nowhere into Peacemaker, and the Viva La Gloria-Restless Heart Syndrome, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades sequence.

To make a great album you have to have this flow from one song to the next.  Most don't put any effort towards it anymore.  it's just about maximizing the quality of the one-off's.  I grew up on these guys, so I'd probably still listen to them even if they didn't put so much into their sequencing.  But they remain one of my top listens because of it.
