Soon, Volek will play for (1 Viewer)

If it happens, I will send $100, Paypal, to the first person who replies in this thread after the Chiefs send a third-round pick to Tennessee for Billy Volek.

Because it's not going to happen. The only way he lands in Kansas City is if (1) the Titans predict KC to have a worse record than San Diego and accept the Chiefs' sixth-rounder, or (2) Carl Peterson stretches his words and offers the Titans a fifth-round pick.

"Chef" has to be the least insulting 'insult' in sports history.
I only use it because it reminds me of that snickers commercial, which I thought was hillarious - Great Googly Moogly - classic stuff.I also use it because I can never remember where the farkakt "i" goes. :bag:

Soooo...what happened?

I didnt' get to watch the game...wast there much talk of Volek? Will this trade go down or is Ten hoping other teams will get into the mix and offer more. It seems the Raider talk is heating up again but probably more from over zealous football fans posting on message boards.

I want to hear from the guy that staked out the Ten team after the game...did Volek go home with the team? did he mosey over to the SD locker room after the game? did he jump on a plane to KC or Oak after the game?

Just a hunch, but I think KC will have a worse record then the Chargers.

Volek says, 'It's time to move on'

SAN DIEGO — Titans No. 3 quarterback Billy Volek returned to Nashville on Sunday night, but said it's "time for me to move on."

The Chargers, Chiefs and Raiders are interested in trading for Volek, who requested to be released or traded after the Titans signed Kerry Collins a couple of weeks before the regular season.

Volek is represented by agent Drew Rosenhaus.

"I haven't talked to Drew yet," Volek said Sunday afternoon. "We kind of gave this thing a rest through the week. Now I just have to wait and see. I have to do what is best for my career.

"Tennessee fans have been great for me, and now it is time for me to move on."

Volek said he never expected to get into Sunday's game.
