Sorry Mr Jackson. Are you for real? (1 Viewer)

Chad Jackson is to me what crack is to Marion Barry. If he has his head screwed on straight/has matured with his physical tools he could easily be WR2 or even a 1, if the Bills put together any kind of offense. Even though no one wants to believe it, they seem to have a somewhat talented and potent collection of talent... if they can mesh right. Spiller, lynch, jackson, evans, and if Jackson emerges?Might be the surprise of the year, but just thought I'd see If I just need to get some air. From the latest Training Camp reports

The breakout performer from this group was Chad Jackson who finished with 5 catches for 52 yards while working with 2nd string QB Brian Brohm. Jackson is an interesting player in that he was a high second round pick of the Patriots a few years ago but never really got his career on track and now he has a great opportunity for playing time in Buffalo.

And He's listed on FBG depth charts at Wr3

QB: Trent Edwards, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Brian Brohm, Levi Brown

RB: Fred Jackson (PR), C.J. Spiller, Marshawn Lynch, Joicque Bell, Chad Simpson (KR), Justice Hairston

FB: Corey McIntyre, Rodney Ferguson

WR: Lee Evans, Steve Johnson, Chad Jackson, Roscoe Parrish, James Hardy, David Nelson, Naaman Roosevelt, Donald Jones, Marcus Easley (IR)

TE: Shawn Nelson (susp), Jonathan Stupar, Derek Schouman (inj), J.P. Foschi, Andrew George, Joe Klopfenstein (IR)

He continues to perform well in PRACTICE and has before. Preseason, while a solid sign, isn't the regular season. I've picked him up as a stash in dynasty leagues, but won't be the least bit surprised if he amounts to absolutely nothing when the real games come along.

Apparently Steve Johnson is struggling, so Jackson should get a shot this season. There is one problem though.... Buffalo's QB situation isn't exactly ideal.

Worth a stash, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

He has all of the athletic qualities that you look for in a starting NFL receiver, so the fact that two teams have cut him in the past suggests that he's pretty strongly deficient in other areas.

I think he's a decent flyer in deep leagues though. He has a higher long term ceiling than any Bills WR besides Evans.

He has been the "#3" WR, so to speak, thus far. Johnson has been running with the first team for all of camp with Parrish in the slot. Jackson has been the #1 with the second-teamers and could push Johnson for a job if he keeps it up.
