I am a transplanted Chicago Bears fan. Since living in North Carolina for the past 8 years I now have a second team. The Carolina Panthers.
Watching the Panthers special teams the past few years has been extremely painful!!!!! Last year we ranked last in kickoff and punt returns. Thank God for Jason Baker and John Kasay. We cannot run a kickoff back much further than our own 20. We for sure cannot stop a kick return to save our lives, we must give up 35 to 40 yards on most kick returns. This is going to be a big part of the Panther downfall if it doesn't get stopped quickly! I thought drafting Ryne Robinson would help, but this kid has shown no burst whatsover. They put Nick Goings(and I am a huge fan of this guy) back there last week verse Houston and he has the burst, but he fumbled at a crucial moment.
Winning or Losing the Panthers had better do something with kick coverages and returns or the Panthers are going to lose some games they might otherwise win.
