Sportsline Commissioners: I Need Some Help (1 Viewer)

To anyone who is the commissioner of a Sportsline league: I have a guy in my league who's been in the league for years but today the site is telling him his User ID isn't allowed. The error message he received said that it would not allow a "-" symbol even though he's never had a single problem accessing the site as recently as Monday. I've gone through the Sportsline Help section and can't find anything that might be able to help him out so I'm reaching out for any possible solutions.

Please, no "Sportsline sucks" replies. I've used their service for years and this is the first time I've encountered any type of serious issue. But if any other commissioners have an idea as to how to fix this problem I'd definitely appreciate it.

Dude, go back to he help center and submit a ticket to reset his password. Be sure to include the owner's current e-mail address.ORCal 954-351-2120 and be prepared to wait a min. of 10 min.

He may have to register a new username with CBS, then you need to remove him from the league and re-add him and send an invite to him.To do this, go to Setup > teams and owners, then check "delete" next to his team. The next screen it will ask if you want to delete just the owner or the owner and team. JUST REMOVE THE OWNER. Then next to his team name there will be two blanks (name and email). Add both back in and click "Send invite to new owners and owners with new email addresses"

I did this just the other week. I didn't delete the owner, but I sent him another invite to the league and it worked.
I just did this now so I'm hoping that will work. Thanks for all the replies so far. If this doesn't work, I'll delete him from the league. I'd considered doing that but was hoping to avoid it if possible. Thanks again :)

just delete the owner not the team. I deleted the team asnd owner once and it adding all the playing to FA :bag:
 
This happened to a team in my league 2 yrs ago. I had to call them & get it sorted out. It took 1-2 days if I recall, a pain in the ### too.

 
So far nothing has worked. I just deleted him and re-sent the invite. If that doesn't work, I told him to call the # provided earlier. Hopefully the invite will do the trick.
