Spring Survivor Leagues Interesting Trend (1 Viewer)

I was checking out the draft summary for SSL III and I was somewhat suprised to see that all 5 teams that have been booted in our league drafted in the last half of the 1st round. This made me curious to see if there was a correlation between draft position & team strength in the other 4 SSL leagues.

Here is what I found:

1st Pick - 0 teams out

2nd Pick - 1 team out

3rd Pick - 0 teams out

4th Pick - 0 teams out

5th Pick - 1 team out

6th Pick - 1 team out

7th Pick - 1 team out

8th Pick - 3 teams out

9th Pick - 1 team out

10th Pick - 1 team out

11th Pick - 3 teams out

12th Pick - 2 teams out

13th Pick - 2 teams out

14th Pick - 1 team out

15th Pick - 2 teams out

16th Pick - 1 team out

I don't know if this holds true to the other survivor leagues because I don't participate in any others, but it sure appears that there is a definite advantage to being at the top of the draft order.

Here is the break down of the draft spots that are OUT by League:

SSL 1 - 5th, 8th, 13th, 14th, 16th

SSL 2 - 2nd, 7th, 8th, 11th, 12th

SSL 3 - 9th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 15th

SSL 4 - 6th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 15th
