Haven't heard anything about him. The LB's shouldn't provide too much tackle competition. Is it unreasonable to expect top ten DB number if he stays healthy?

sirious NFL has been saying that he looks healthy in camp and that they expect him to be able to play in the box this year. DC Perry was on and said he designed his D's last year to keep Phillips away from contact as much as possible to protect the knee. This year he's going to "unleash" Phillips.

I think he's a solid DB2 with DB1 upside. I think it depends if he plays in the box or a safe centerfield this year.

Giants DC Perry Fewell expects SS Kenny Phillips to make a "quantum leap" in his second season as a starter.Fewell concedes that he "protected (Phillips) a bit" in his first season back from a major knee surgery last year, but is ready to unleash the dynamic strong safety.
