1.7- Eddie Lacy. Was hoping Calvin or Forte fell to me but Lacy's not a bad constellation prize.
1.8- Demaryius Thomas. He or any one of the next four WRs that went (Green, Bryant, Marshall, or Jones) would have been fine with me.If we were allowed to trade, I would have traded back for a quicker pick in the third rd since I would have been happy with any of them.

Relax. It's a slow draft and we're actually doing quite well. We're on a quicker pace so far than the other 3 drafts through this point.

RB: When you need 2 and there is not much out there really to be had, you got to go on them early. I like the McCoy/Sankey combo to lead the way. This is much better than my PDSL draft where I went Lynch/Morris in 1/2. Lynch combo is better but in PPR, maybe not and the price was much cheaper.
Was hoping Ray Rice would drop one more spot instead and than would have been estatic
WR: Allen/Andre. A nice twosome to build around. Vincent Jackson was my other thought. Slightly better start than my other draft. Even though I was hoping for Nelson instead of Allen at the 2.15.
TE: Greg Olsen. Loved getting him in this format and this is much better than I did in the other draft where I struggled with TE.
I am really happy with my start here.

Will be interesting to see how BPA works out. I think if you hold to this strategy you will end up with zero running backs and a boatload of WRs!
I just can't get my head around Harvin. Theoretically he should be good value but he hasn't done in anything in almost two years, doesn't seem to be able to stay healthy and his role in this offense is murky. Tack on drafting 2nd and 4th round WRs and a run based offense (if he is used like he was in Minny then this won't hurt so much) and he could underperform.

I may be overly high on Harvin, but I see him back to 2011 type of production. Carroll almost seemed to force him the ball last year in the NO playoff game. I see at top ten producer at a wr18 ADP. Even if I'm off base on the total points he amasses, he post enough huge games to be very valuable in a best ball league.

No doubt Carroll did before Harvin for knocked out the game. Could be a situation where when on the field he produces like top 10. I want to see it.

You guys killed me on the last five picks…I was set to take any of them. Actually would have taken 6 of the last 7 picks made. Well done.
I considered Wallace and Edelman but wanted to leave some room for sleepers later. let QB go because the guys after me have one already. I'm going to get a nice deal on a QB in a few picks.
Settled on Sproles. Philly extended him for a reason. Perfect survivor RB when you're set at the other positions.

I know the clock was off but this weekend was brutal. 5 picks in 2 days blows.
I've predrafted SFax1. Not sure what I'm doing for SFax2 so I want to see what raylove and FFWMD do. Will pick for SFax2 when I'm online tomorrow around 10-11am PST.

QB: Flacco. Bradford. The run in the 6th hurt me here a little. I like the combo and glad I waited till the 8th instead of grabbing one in the 7th. I like the Bradford/Watkins combo over Palmer/Nicks that probably would have happened. Still one of the weaker combos and might have me thinking 3rd QB in this league still.

Almost grabbed a 4th and was hoping James Jones would be there in the 10th for me but someone grabbed him earlier than the other drafts and I like the pick. Watkins is a rookie but he will get his targets in Buffalo as they will want the fans to know why they gave up a 1st next year. Top 2 are a top combo already. This needs more but right now their is bargains to be had. Maybe.

D: SF. I have never gone this early for D but no O player stood out to me. I kept looking and thinking I like this guy but I can get him or a guy similar a round later. SF is one of the best and with Seattle going so early, I thought I could go against the grain here. Hopefully they give me more of an advantage week to week than another RB/TE or WR would have.
I like the start still that is going on. Wish QB's had dropped and got a Big Ben or Rivers instead to pair with Flacco but that did not happen and Watkins is a nice consolation prize from what the original plan was.

OK, got this team to the point it is going to be what it is. Tough drafting against the newbies and the cellar dwellers of last year. This draft has been totally unpredictable relative to every other survivor draft done here this year. Got caught n the outside looking in at several positions.
QB - Rivers
1.13 Marshall - Happy with Marshall here. Like Jones a hair better but thought Jones might make it back, he didn't.
2.4 Thomas - This pick represented the best value at the time but has ended up bitting me. In hindsight should have taken one of the RBs.
3.13 Harvin - I couldn't pass on the top 5 potential this late.
4.4 Crabtree - Another WR I see as being undervalued. I think we see a return of the 2012 version which was dominating at the end of that year.
5.13 Sproles - Thought for sure I could get Bell/Jennings/CJ2k here. You guys wiped the board clean just prior to my pick. Philly extended Sproles and suspect they plan to use him. With the number of plays Philly runs and expected passing to the RBs, I should get some production each week. Almost considered Wallace here.
6.4 Rivers - Got lucky with the QBs left on the board last round and knowing they wouldn't be hit hard between my 5/6 picks. Rivers is money and excellent value in the 6th.
7.13 Tate, Golden - Ridley/Robinson/DW/MJD were all targets here that went just prior to my pick effectively leaving crap at the position. Huge opportunity for Tate in Detroit and one of the few guys that I thought would score enough TDs to actually post a score on my WR heavy team.
8.4 Cooks - Was at a loss where to go here. Decided if I went WR again I'd have the option of only taking 5. With Sproles gone, Brees may use Cooks as his safety valve.
9.13 Pierce - Finally some value at the RB position (only 2 went since my last pick). Rice may see a suspension, but even if he doesn't, Kubiak will get him touches. Plan is to be strong at the other positions and fill in my RBs with guys who will get touches every week. Would have taken Manziel here if available.
10.4 KC - Primarly took KC because they had a great bye week for my team and it gives me the option to roll with only one.
11.13 Stewart - Debated between Stewart and Mason. Ultimately Stewart gets 8-10 touches a week and doesn't face SEA/SF/ARI x 6 times. This is now my 3rd 8-10 touch a week back so I feel like I'll get enough production to avoid the bottom each week.
12.4 - CJ Anderson - With some guaranteed production in place at RB, not it was time to swing for the fences for a stud later in the year if Ball misses time.

I think you would with Davis but I would not count on it for Anderson.
You got a good WR core and a top TE.
Look for KC to take a Texan plunge this year. I dont think you get away with only 1 D. Now if you had SF or Seattle, I could see it but than bye week issue could come into place also as I know you think I can survive week 6 and 1 will do. I just dont think KC is the same this year. Was not big on their NFL draft either for this year.

1.7 E.Lacy- Really wanted Calvin or Forte but they went the two picks in front of me. Happy with Lacy who will be a workhorse on a great offense.
2.10 M.Ball- With Moreno out of the picture, Ball becomes a 3-down back on the leagues best offense. At this pick the decision was between Ball & Foster who went the next pick. Chose youth over aging vet.
3.7 W.Welker- With two RBs locked up it was time to go WR. Would have preferred AJ who went a few picks before me or Garcon who went two picks ahead, but I'm ok with this reception machine for my #1. Automatic concern is having two of my top three players on the same bye, but its an early enough bye week (4) that hopefully one of the many teams remaining will score lower.
4.10 RGIII- My general philosophy is to wait on QBs, but no WR or TE jumped out at me. Going back up the round, none of the other 6 teams had drafted a QB yet (as opposed to 8 of the 9 teams behind me) and I was scared their would be a run leaving me with garbage. I went with RG over M.Ryan because of the max-player scoring. In a normal league where I would have to submit a lineup, I probably take Ryan.
5.7 Z.Ertz- Was looking at WR position again and again no one stood out against the others. There were a few WRs I would be happy with as my #2, so I drafted Ertz. He definitely takes over for Celek in Philly's go-go-go offense which should translate to some nice points.
6.10 R.Wilson- Well that backfired. All the WRs I had on my list went before it got back to me. Would have taken 6 of the 7 WRs that went before this pick (couldn't take E.Sanders as it would have been the third player with bye week 4). Went back and forth between my 2nd QB and R.Wayne. Decided to take QB for a few reasons, most importantly being RGIII injury protection. With four of the six teams before my pick again, not yet having a QB, I was hoping to start a mini QB run while adding valuable depth to my team.
7.7 S.Ridley- Strategy successful. Of the 12 picks between my 6th & 7th, I was thrilled to see that half went QB. I was less than thrilled that of the other half, one of the teams took Reggie Wayne. LOVE getting Ridley in the 7th round of a 16 team draft although having only one WR (who isn't even his team's #1) at this point is getting a bit ridiculous.
8.10 D.Bowe- I truly believe this teams chance on success hinges on this pick....and this scares me bad. This guy should be so much better than he is, but glimpses of what he can do (stat line in the playoff loss: 8-150-1 ) helped me cross my fingers and make this selection. Hopefully in his 2nd year with Andy Reid & Alex Smith, Bowe finds a way to produce #1 WR numbers.
9.7 J.Matthews- Hate the word, but using it anyway. 'Upside' pick here. Great landing spot for this rookie on a great offense. I figure between he and Ertz, a good number of targets should get thrown at them.
10.10 B.Hartline- Meh...always a bit underrated. I see no reason why he can't continue a solid if less than spectacular stat line. Better in max-scoring leagues than a traditional league. We are in the pick range of about 150 though.
11.7 M.Prater- First to jump on a kicker, yay me. haha. I know we are talking about the kicker position but I actually want to explain why I took this pick. Prater missed top billing at K by only 8 points despite having less FG attempts than every other K down to #24. Denver probably wont match their insane 75 TDs which should get Prater many more attempts and he had the highest FG completion percentage (of anyone not named Shayne Graham who went 2 for 2). This should translate to a sh*tlod of points. And he has an early bye week to boot! Boot...see what I did there.
12.10 M.Floyd- Love this pick, this late. If he returns 100% healthy (which reports indicate he should), could be a big boost to the position I am most lacking.
13.7 T.West- Only thing standing in the way of #1 RB duty is Ben Tate. Larger walls have been scaled! Even as #2 RB, West should see a bunch of carries in what projects to be a very run heavy Cleveland offense this year.

Everyone needs to set up MFL to email them when they are up. Draft mfl, discussion here. Doing both is twice the work with some things falling through the cracks. Copy the Draft in first post as possible and post picks in discussion thread as little as possible for those without mfl access.

I don't remember either. Adding mfl has speeded up the drafts and hopefully keeps us from having to enter the teams after the fact. Not totally sure since I renewed the league, but hopefully it didn't get tagged as a pay league. The other issue was that we were losing volunteers to maintain draft threads.
So here are my thoughts on my team in progress. Received the #1 pick, which is great....for one pick...then I hate it. Never been a big fan of picking at the turn, particularly in larger leagues. Find that I overthink and either reach on players or get killed by runs. Got a little of both here I think. Being a newbie, I was tracking the other SSD drafts and looking for trends and got killed by this last league going completely on a different track from the other leagues. Oh well...what can you do but hope for the best at this point and some luck (which I will definitely need!).
1.1 J Charles - Fairly easy pick in my mind in a PPR league. Some consideration of Graham with the TE bonus or McCoy, but felt good about Jamal.
2.16 V Davis - Wanted to ensure a solid #1 option TE which I believe Davis is (despite more mouths to feed in SF). In retrospect, might have gone Cameron, but generally pleased with the pick.
3.1 R Bush - Wanted another solid pass catching RB and Bush should fit the bill. Would have likely gone QB/WR here in retrospect after seeing how the draft has gone. Know that Bell will steal some production but Bush can have some big weeks in best ball
4.16 - TY Hilton - Decent young WR who did well last year even with all the focus on him after Wayne went down. Even with Wayne and Nicks in the mix, think he will have a number of big games this year.
5.1 - Michael Floyd - Continuously improving player who might be ready for the step up to WR1 this year...with some luck. First big mistake here...calculated risk that a decent QB would wrap around to me at 6.16. Based on other 3 leagues, 14-17 QBs went in first 6 rounds. We had 19 go which left me in the lurch for QBs
6.16 - Pierre Thomas - Slight reach here but knew that he would not make it back around to me in the 8th. Could have great PPR production in NO with Sproles and Moore out of the mix.
7.1 - Carson Palmer - Ugh...my QB1...sad...here is hoping for many Palmer to Floyd connections!
8.16 - Alex Smith - Another unsexy QB pick, but hopefully he'll have one of those amazing contract years looking for a big payday.
9.1 - Woodhead - Planned to go WR here and probably should have, but Woodhead offers up plenty of PPR opportunity with the "ever durable" Matthews as primary competition. Donald Brown could steal some time which makes me nervous, but not bad for a 9th round RB
10.16 - Fleener - Not a bad TE2 option...3rd year breakout? Not holding my breath but hopeful
11.1 - Rams - Should be a solid #1 D with a great pass rush. Little bit of reach, but feared a D run in rounds 11 and 12 with 6 Ds off the board already (vs 1-2 in the other SSLs)

15.1 - B Walsh - Once again..SSL4 proves to be the anomoly with 15 kickers off the board in the first 14 rounds (vs 5, 9 and 11 in the other leagues). Walsh should have the job assured in Min, but not loving the outdoor conditions. Really wanted Tucker at the prior turn, but Crippler snagged him first one pick before me.

QB- Palmer (4), A Smith (6) - Not exciting but hopefully solid, steady production between the two of them.
RB- Charles (6), Bush (9), Thomas (6), Woodhead (10) - Great PPR group. Need big weeks from my WR to make up for the rest of my across the board mediocrity. Week 6 could be an issue with byes.
WR- Floyd (4), Hilton (10), Douglas (9), LaFell (10), Lee (11) - Not sexy at all, but some solid production likely with some upside. Really not happy with this crew though.
TE- V Davis (8), Fleener (10) - Should be a decent duo
K- Walsh (10) - Solid leg and hopefully better offense. Bad weather might not be an issue as I'll probably be out prior to the Minneapolis snows coming
D- Rams (4) - Solid D
Overall had fun and good learning experience for this type of draft, but will likely be continuing my learning experience in SSL4 next year...maybe 3 if I'm lucky. Hopefully, just being too hard on myself

This league's drafting trends buried me too. RBs, QBs, and PKs went crazy early. I'm stuck with one QB and backup RBs for both of my RB positions.So here are my thoughts on my team in progress. Did everyone follow others and make plans by it. Really wanted Marlon Brown who went later in the other drafts.
Also got caught on the QB run as I was hoping for a Big Ben/Flacco combo but still not as disappointed with the Flacco/Bradford combo as one might think you would be. Both teams have improved
I am glad you took Charles. I probably go Calvin if you go with McCoy at the top. Just something about that guy that scares me this year. The whole KC team does

1.2 Lesean McCoy. This was an easy pick to make. If not him than it would have been Calvin instead.
2.15 Keenan Allen. I knew I wanted back to back WR at this point as could get RB's later. Most of the RB's taken around here scare me. I really wanted Jordy Nelson with this pick instead but will settle for the top guy in SD.
3.2 Andre Johnson. Just a steady vet who will get his numbers. I liked Vincent Jackson in this spot also which is sometimes why pick 2 sucks as Ryheaps points out at the top. Nelson/Jackson works slightly better than Allen/Johnson for me
4.15 Greg Olsen. Easy pick to make and one that I really like overall that he dropped to me. I would have taken him anywhere I picked in round 4
5.2 Bishop Sankey. NOt a huge fan of this pick but it was necessary I thought about Chris Johnson also but like the Tenn OL and the lesser competition better. If we only needed 1 RB, this pick would have gone WR instead. I do see not much difference between him and Ellington or Spiller who I could have taken at the 2/3 turn. I like him better than Moreno, Matthews. I would have liked Ray Rice but than I would have had to go Pierce early
6.15. I wanted Flacco all along but as my #2 QB. Was hoping for many of the others to drop but they did not. Not overally disappointed but not the way I planned things from the get go. Colston was dropping and I thought about him here if he had. I think great value for the guy who picked him
7.2 Sammy Watkins. I take another rookie and this could be my undoing overall in this league. I saw him above the rest as a target monster in Buffalo I hope. Would have much rathered got Colston at 6.15 and Flacco here but that plan got shot down. DeAndre Hopkins was the other thought and lucky now since I did not think about having Andre already
8.15. Glad I did not go QB in the 7th and went WR instead. Bradford made nice value IMO like Rivers a few years ago when he was written off. Gives me a okay QB combo. Not even near the best but it could get me by
9.2 SF D. Seattle had gone and I wanted instant impact points which is what this team could provide and started teams thinking about D which hopefully drops players you want later. Did not quite work like that but overall not disappointed with pick. Did anyone go that I could not live without till my next pick. Not really
10.15 Odell Beckhum. Another rookie will kill my team but they just seemed to provide best value. I was hoping for James Jones or Aaron Dobson based on other drafts but that would not happen. If Jones had gone from 9.2 to this pick, I would be second guessing myself right now and saying I rather Jones/SL over Beckhum/SF but luckily this wont leave me with sleepless nights
11.2 Austin Sefrani-Jenkins. I was looking at him or Fleener. This is probably my worst pick and wish I could retry on and take Lamar Miller because of the Finley pick coming up. I thnk my team looks much better with the RB instead. Big mistake and with all the rookies, the one that does not make this a team that probably wins. But go big or go home. I could see him having nice impact
12.15 Justin Tucker. If I go 1 PK which is in the thought process, I am glad to get this guy. The other one I had put in was Greg the Leg with his early bye week. I got a consistent guy and love the pick. But I would have been happy with others also.
13.2 Carlos Hyde. NO. Another rookie but take the chance as to win, it is about the huge risk reward guy. Gore is old and if he gets to play he could put up some nice numbers. Of course, I might get squat but Hunter is the change of pace guy
14.15 Jermicheal Finley. I love the value here. I think he will play and will put up great numbers. Dont even mind going 3 TE as that is probably the 2nd most important position in this league with the extra points next to QB. But this was a stupid pick or the 11.2 was the real stupid pick for this team. Just a waste but I saw one guy who could be a huge difference maker at this point and said what the hell. This is free anyways and the fun is drafting
15.2 Baltimore D. I had 3 D's I like. TB, Baltimore and Detroit in a row. I ended up with Baltimore. D can score nice points in any week and I decided if I had to go 1 D or 1 PK, it was going to be PK in the end. They avg 182 to PK at 136 per franchise last year. Top team was 262 to 177 and with the Harbaugh boys in tow, I feel I got one of the best duos in our draft
16.15. Vincent Brown. YOu see how much time I really put into these. It is just for fun as why take a 2nd SD WR when you only have 5. I like the value even if Marlon was the Brown I was hoping to get coming into this but it shows lack of preparation on my part.
17.2 Vick Ballard. I hope he takes the Donald Brown role of a year ago. What else will you get at this point and you got to roll with the punches. I still rather have Lamar Millar and come back with I am not sure here
18.15. No clue what I will go. Can go QB, RB, WR or PK. My team could use help at them all.

But if the rookies come through it could surprise because overall it has some solid parts. Especially my starting unit minue QB but I dont mind the QBBC I got going on.

Interested in hearing some thoughts on this mess.
QB - After Rivers I kept getting caught on the wrong side of the runs. Jeaton taking 3 starters sent others scrambling. Lots of guys spent some ammo on QBs. Fitz wouldn't do me any good sharing a week 10 bye so I went Bortles. Surely with that type of investment he sees the field by week 10. Grade D
RB - I've been caught out at one position before, but never two. RBs went really fast in this league. Should have known that with new guys coming in. Keep just missing out on the guy I wanted and then punting it two rounds. Even so, I've got some guys who will score some points almost every week. All of them are entrenched #2s behind mostly workhorses. Odds are pretty good one gets the called on to carry the load come crunch time. Grade D (but I have a strong feeling I outperform a D later in the year).
WR - Got to be the bet in the league or closest to it. With 6 aboard and this much talent, I should have some big scores posted that might help pick up the RB slack and then some. Went Rice in the 18th because I think he'll get some TDs and protects me when Harvin gets a boo-boo. Cooks and Tate get me a piece of Brees and Staffords insane stats. Grade A+
TE - Top flight starter and above average back-up. Grade A-

Not what I planned at the beginning, but you guys repeatedly derailed my draft. Rather than give in and be at the tail end of the runs taking lesser talent, I chose to blaze a different trail.

Interested in hearing some thoughts on this mess.
QB - After Rivers I kept getting caught on the wrong side of the runs. Jeaton taking 3 starters sent others scrambling. Lots of guys spent some ammo on QBs. Fitz wouldn't do me any good sharing a week 10 bye so I went Bortles. Surely with that type of investment he sees the field by week 10. Grade D
RB - I've been caught out at one position before, but never two. RBs went really fast in this league. Should have known that with new guys coming in. Keep just missing out on the guy I wanted and then punting it two rounds. Even so, I've got some guys who will score some points almost every week. All of them are entrenched #2s behind mostly workhorses. Odds are pretty good one gets the called on to carry the load come crunch time. Grade D (but I have a strong feeling I outperform a D later in the year).
WR - Got to be the bet in the league or closest to it. With 6 aboard and this much talent, I should have some big scores posted that might help pick up the RB slack and then some. Went Rice in the 18th because I think he'll get some TDs and protects me when Harvin gets a boo-boo. Cooks and Tate get me a piece of Brees and Staffords insane stats. Grade A+

Jeaton's 3rd QB didn't really have any affect, except taking another starter from someone. Only Bridgewater was taken in the next 3+ rounds. It may have started in the 6th round with tex1 taking Colin and then went full bore with raylove doubling up both his teams. Romo was the only QB rostered on the 5 teams after me...I thought QBs would continue to fly off the board so I double dipped early with Big Ben.
I kept waiting for you and jeaton2 to draft your QB2 and it just never came. I thought about only going with Peyton but decided to help me (and hurt you and jeaton) drafting Henne, knowing that Fitzpatrick shared a bye with Rivers and Luck. IMO, Cooks was a horrible pick and an unnecessary gamble. With 4 high picks spent on WR, no need for Cooks and we don't even know how he'll be used. You needed to jump on a QB2 in the 8th -- Bradford of Smith...or even Schaub in the 9th.
BTW...any thought of going Carr over Bortles?

Really odd draft. Didn't really know wtf was going on or going to happen. NEVER seen a draft with so many teams with 1 PK and even more odd with 5 and maybe 6 teams with only 1 DST...heck busman2 only has 1 of each. Maybe those with 2 teams decided to try some odd strategies? I'd be curious to know if those with 2 teams try to "benefit" one of their teams or had any plans/thoughts/strategies to cooperate with 1 another or just try different things. I didn't...I just went by the book with each team.

I know you tried to zig not zag at times but it didn't work. By the time one or more of your RBs gets called on to carry the load, it won't matter...you'll be gone. I had higher hopes for Sproles upon signing but I'm really starting to cool on him. Pierce will benefit from any Rice suspension (and that may help keep you alive a couple weeks) but he looked horrible last year. Can JStew even stay on the field? RBs and QBs...oof....double oof.
Rivers has too many 15-20 point weeks. You're heavily invested in WRs but Harvin and Crabtree are on 2 heavy run first teams and you NEED your WRs and JT to carry your team. Too much to ask for and not nearly enough firepower or scoring to just advance, let alone win.
We can all draft better in hindsight but looking back I think the Crabtree pick derailed your draft. I think you said earlier that you were expecting Jennings, CJ, Bell or Gore to be available and if so it probably would have changed your whole draft. But knowing that didn't happen, you had to make sure you didn't lose ground at another position. You didn't do that and got burned at QB also. I can appreciate not trying to draft at the end of runs but sometimes you need to just suck it up in order to secure a position.
Curious to hear your reasons going Sproles over Gerhart. I don't think Gerhart is anything special but it seems like he's going to be the bellcow, get the GL work and he can catch. Seems to me you gave up a lot of touches with the Sproles pick.

I think you got most of it correct. I love the Rivers pick and feel like big value. Not that big on Bortles and feel Fitzpatrick would have been better pick overall other than the bye week thing and because of value, he probably ends up on my team. I like him over lots of guys that got taken instead.
I dont like your RB's at all and other than Knile Davis who I do like, dont feel any will be a work horse if the top dog goes down. Might get a few more touches only.
I am not the Harvin Fan most are, so that makes me feel different. But the Rice pick was smart for your reasons. You do have a top WR core. I think nice value on Crabtree though.
I dont know about Julius Thomas. Just read about them getting Virgil Green more touches this year and him exploding like Thomas. And than they added Latimer in the draft. I know most think he is a stud but he could disappoint and Lewis is less than average as even a #2 guy. But when you feel you got a stud at a position, his value was pretty good
Overall, I cant argue with anything you have done. Might have gone Fitzpatrick over Rice to give more QB points but you just did a study I think on the impact of bad QB units and it was not all that bad in one of the other SSL discussion. Other than 1 PK and Bortles it looks like a normal team in the end. Not like mine with going heavy on TE because of value or maybe 3 QB leaving me short on RB and WR which could hurt big time.
The PK is interesting as I look to only go with 1 also. See how it works out but good for those that did it with so many other teams doing it. The issue with PK as this time is who knows who the PK will be for about 4 or 5 teams come September. Like will Dan Carpenter have a job. I read that he makes alot more than Hopkins and if even, he could be gone. Does he catch on elsewhere. Bullock will battle Boswell, Folk is never a guarantee either and Barth will battle as he comes back from injury. Those teams could be disappointed like teams where a year ago. Looking back last year and 2 teams went with 1 and 2 PK's scored zero for their teams respectively a year ago. See how it goes I guess for those that have some battles to survive.

Every time I came up with a plan, someone derailed it. Thought about the Vick/Geno combo. Part of the problem was that I had it in my mind I would take a QB combo so I wanted to get a solid kicker with a good bye week first. The drug QBs sure lasted longer in the other leagues. I saw that Jeaton had the same issue so I was going to jump him that round for Henne.
Ref: Bortles/Carr - Not really. I usually go with the NFL scouts and GMs on this type of stuff. If Jax was going to spend a pick that high, he'll be the most likely to see the field first.

RB - Love the MJD/McFadden combo. One will get hurt and you will have two RB studs. That was my plan. Gerhart doesn't wow me. I think they'll work someone else in. Went Sproles because Kelly runs so many plays and he fits their scheme. Westbrook will need some breaks. I think Sproles will offer more consistency week to week with his receptions. Grade B
WR - Really like your top two but then it get bleak. I got Benjamin at 20.16 in the PDSL. Gronk, Vareen, Amendola, Edelman, Lafel, Boyce, Thompkins…wouldn't want to rely on Dobson. Nate's taking a back seat this year. Hopefully Bortles is tossing it to Ace, may be Henne to the new draftees. Grade C-
TE - Two huge values with Rudolph and Cook. I would have waited on TE if I had known that type of talent would slip. You spent little for solid production. Grade B-
D/K - Grade B

Shawdow's first team is much more solid than team 2 IMO. And I like the Dobson pick more than Bass. Not as big on Cook though as Bass is. SL has lots of mouths to feed and even though I have Bradford, I just dont see prolific O in the end. Rudolph I do like but how big can he be.

Anyways breakdown of each pick
1.2 Lesean McCoy. This was an easy pick to make. If not him than it would have been Calvin instead.
2.15 Keenan Allen. I knew I wanted back to back WR at this point as could get RB's later. Most of the RB's taken around here scare me. I really wanted Jordy Nelson with this pick instead but will settle for the top guy in SD.
3.2 Andre Johnson. Just a steady vet who will get his numbers. I liked Vincent Jackson in this spot also which is sometimes why pick 2 sucks as Ryheaps points out at the top. Nelson/Jackson works slightly better than Allen/Johnson for me
4.15 Greg Olsen. Easy pick to make and one that I really like overall that he dropped to me. I would have taken him anywhere I picked in round 4
5.2 Bishop Sankey. NOt a huge fan of this pick but it was necessary I thought about Chris Johnson also but like the Tenn OL and the lesser competition better. If we only needed 1 RB, this pick would have gone WR instead. I do see not much difference between him and Ellington or Spiller who I could have taken at the 2/3 turn. I like him better than Moreno, Matthews. I would have liked Ray Rice but than I would have had to go Pierce early
6.15. I wanted Flacco all along but as my #2 QB. Was hoping for many of the others to drop but they did not. Not overally disappointed but not the way I planned things from the get go. Colston was dropping and I thought about him here if he had. I think great value for the guy who picked him
7.2 Sammy Watkins. I take another rookie and this could be my undoing overall in this league. I saw him above the rest as a target monster in Buffalo I hope. Would have much rathered got Colston at 6.15 and Flacco here but that plan got shot down. DeAndre Hopkins was the other thought and lucky now since I did not think about having Andre already
8.15. Glad I did not go QB in the 7th and went WR instead. Bradford made nice value IMO like Rivers a few years ago when he was written off. Gives me a okay QB combo. Not even near the best but it could get me by
9.2 SF D. Seattle had gone and I wanted instant impact points which is what this team could provide and started teams thinking about D which hopefully drops players you want later. Did not quite work like that but overall not disappointed with pick. Did anyone go that I could not live without till my next pick. Not really
10.15 Odell Beckhum. Another rookie will kill my team but they just seemed to provide best value. I was hoping for James Jones or Aaron Dobson based on other drafts but that would not happen. If Jones had gone from 9.2 to this pick, I would be second guessing myself right now and saying I rather Jones/SL over Beckhum/SF but luckily this wont leave me with sleepless nights
11.2 Austin Sefrani-Jenkins. I was looking at him or Fleener. This is probably my worst pick and wish I could retry on and take Lamar Miller because of the Finley pick coming up. I thnk my team looks much better with the RB instead. Big mistake and with all the rookies, the one that does not make this a team that probably wins. But go big or go home. I could see him having nice impact
12.15 Justin Tucker. If I go 1 PK which is in the thought process, I am glad to get this guy. The other one I had put in was Greg the Leg with his early bye week. I got a consistent guy and love the pick. But I would have been happy with others also.
13.2 Carlos Hyde. NO. Another rookie but take the chance as to win, it is about the huge risk reward guy. Gore is old and if he gets to play he could put up some nice numbers. Of course, I might get squat but Hunter is the change of pace guy
14.15 Jermicheal Finley. I love the value here. I think he will play and will put up great numbers. Dont even mind going 3 TE as that is probably the 2nd most important position in this league with the extra points next to QB. But this was a stupid pick or the 11.2 was the real stupid pick for this team. Just a waste but I saw one guy who could be a huge difference maker at this point and said what the hell. This is free anyways and the fun is drafting
15.2 Baltimore D. I had 3 D's I like. TB, Baltimore and Detroit in a row. I ended up with Baltimore. D can score nice points in any week and I decided if I had to go 1 D or 1 PK, it was going to be PK in the end. They avg 182 to PK at 136 per franchise last year. Top team was 262 to 177 and with the Harbaugh boys in tow, I feel I got one of the best duos in our draft
16.15. Vincent Brown. YOu see how much time I really put into these. It is just for fun as why take a 2nd SD WR when you only have 5. I like the value even if Marlon was the Brown I was hoping to get coming into this but it shows lack of preparation on my part. But overall this was the wrong pick and I should have gone Sidney Rice, Lance Moore or Miles Austin who where all pegged to go.
17.2 Vick Ballard. I hope he takes the Donald Brown role of a year ago. What else will you get at this point and you got to roll with the punches. I still rather have Lamar Millar and come back with I am not sure here
18.15. Ryan Fitzpatrick. Just too much value especially with my QB's just being okay. The 70 pts the guys around him will get max was just not enough for me to worry for a guy who could get my 30 pts a week a few times to help me along. He beat 27, 5 times last year. I looked at Kendal Hunter as my last pick but he broke 10 once last year. But I guess most think better to get 10 in a week than take a 0 which I will do in week 10 at WR but hopefully this extra QB will give me the immunity the week before. Ted Ginn picked 2 before had 5 games over 10 points last year.
