WR Will Stay In New Orleans

While on "The Afternoon Blitz" on Sirius NFL Radio Wednesday, June 14, New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis said the team is not looking to trade WR Donte' Stallworth. Loomis added, "I've seen some of those rumors. Most of it is unfounded. I've gotten a couple of calls, I think as a result of the rumors more than anything else. But we're not looking to trade Donte' Stallworth. He's an integral part of our team and we're expecting a big year from him."

Just figured I would post this for any people that have Stallworth. I am one of those people.

trading stallworth just didn't make sense. the saints WR corps is unproven beyond Horn and Stallworth. payton is playing tough guy right now because the team needs the focus and discipline after the debacle of last season. stallworth was the obvious candidate for that kind of scrutiny from payton, which led to these rumors.

actually they have a younger version of Stallworth .. with just as bad of hands .. and the same amount of speed if not more

DEVERY HENDERSON

what team is going to admit on public radio they are looking to trade a player ? .. Stallworth is a free agnt at the end of the year . the SAINTS are not going to make the playoffs this year so if someone comes knocking and offering themsomething they can use . for a player they have no chance to keep adfter this year .. I believe they will do it
