Been playing dynasty for a few years now and started looking for a second league. There are a number of sites with orphan teams for sale. Some of these teams are seriously bad; no QB1/RB1/WR1 or no early draft picks (must have been traded away) or both. People must be buying these teams because they are listed one day and then gone the next. So why would someone take on a team with little chance to compete for several years when you can buy a startup? Is it the challenge? The higher priced teams sometimes go for a discount and I get that. But the $100 entry leagues never seem to.

The challenge. I’m thinking about getting another dynasty team and I’ll probably look for a bad team on purpose. I’ll set a goal to compete in three years a see how it goes.

FFPC has oodles of teams available.  250 to 2500

Some pretty bad teams in there for the guys looking for a challenge, some at a pretty significant discount also.

FFPC had several $77 teams available a couple days ago and they disappeared fast. One of them is going to be a serious project for the new owner.

I dont think they charge enough on the deposit.

Some of these teams should be free for 2 years.

No idea how some of them sell, even at a discount

I like FFPC.  They've produced a solid product for years, aside from some major BS this year where they changed rules mid-season. That being said, I suggest you stay away from the $77 leagues.   They take a huge % off there top at that price point. It doesn't seem to be worth it. If you're looking for $50-$100 price points,   try the Looking for Leagues forum.

Is it okay to say my league has a few openings here?  100 dynasty, lots of complex rules.
