It'll be the toughest test yet for the Steelers, and you gotta believe Whis and Grimm want this one bad. What's going to happen?

If the Cards want any chance to win the game they better start Warner and try to make it a shootout.

Tomlin will outcoach them. I trust the Steeler's owner's judgement over the Cardinal's owner's judgement when it comes to choosing the right guy for the job. This will just show that the Steeler's were right IMO

I expect the first thing that will happen is that one team or the other will kick off around 4:15 pm EDT. Of course, that's 2:15 pm local time. (No need to thank me.)

Seriously, the whole "inside knowledge" thing and "extra motivation" angle is extremely overrated. The heat is far more likely to influence the game than either of those other issues. Is the Arizona dome closed or not based on what the Cardinals want, or does the league decide? I do agree that it's the best test of the Steelers so far, as it's the best team (should have beaten SF, could have beaten BALT; both on road) they have faced, and it's on the road.

there's a 99% chance the dome will be closed. they left it shut a few times last year when the weather clearly warranted an open dome. it's still in the mid 90s here.

Phoenix resident and Steelers fan here. Going to the game of course. Roof will be closed. 30% of the stadium will be black n' gold. Opening line is Steelers -5.5. Steelers haven't allowed a 100 yard rusher since '05. I don't see the Steelers covering. If Pittsburgh can't pressure Leinart, and Whiz and Grimm know all of LeBeau's tricks, it will be a long day for the Steeler secondary... Fitz is a good start this week in my opinion. Edge is not.

I don't think anyone knows all of LeBeau's tricks, and I'm pretty sure the offensive and defensive coaches weren't too worried about making sure they each knew the other's strategies all that much. Plus, he's got that bit of mad scientist in him in that he's always adding new wrinkles (remember the article concerning the wrinkle added the night before SB XL that led directly to Ike Taylor's 4th quarter interception?).LeBeau can also use similar insights in reverse and in counter-tendency preparation to negate any informational advantage the Cardinals might have.Players win games much more often than coaches. The Steelers have the better players, and that should carry the day. Have fun at the game!

:useless: Grimm was a bum and Whisenhunt was nothing special. Tomlin will outcoach these guys without breaking a sweat.
