Steelers at Bengals (1 Viewer)

Not close enough to overturn - someone in the Cincy booth who makes these calls needs to have that privilege taken away.

Good grief Wallace...might be drop #4 (plus the missed tipped ball in the endzone)
FWIW...this one wouldnt have been counted as a drop ;)
Really? How do they define a drop?
For it to be a drop, it has to be on a fairly routine play...not when the WR is going to the ground trying to scrape it off the turf.Similar to an "error" in baseball...you don't get charged a drop on a non-routine play/catch.

Lewis is horrible. Quiz, serious question - how does he keep his job??
Screw the challenges. The play calling on the last drive was CAR panthers level. Absurd.
Agreed. That last challenge was a good one...even with little hope of a reversal, due to the game clock and score. Nothing really to lose on that one.The first challenge, OTOH..........

So is Dwyer gonna be the starter from here on out? Worth grabbing?
I can't see it if Mendy is healthy.
Is he going to be the starter from here on out? He has made a statement tonight. He has run with determination. I disagree that he looks slow. I think he has shown some speed. With the return of Redman and Mendenhall, however, it is difficult to imagine Dwyer having more than a committee share of carries going forward. Is Dwyer worth grabbing? Unless you have very shallow benches, then indeed he is worth rostering. You have to be impressed with what Dwyer did tonight.

I like him in other respects. I honestly think he should not be allowed to throw the challenge flag or call time outs. The thing I always think about as a Bengals fan is if Marvin goes who does Mike Brown hire to replace him. That gives Marvin a massively long leash with me.Felt the season ended last week so somehow this doesn't sting as much as I expected. It's a zombie team - by appearances it will seem to have a chance but really it's dead team walking. No WR2 (at least not one that's ready yet), very thin at LB, pretty much nothing as Safety, no true RB1. The holes are pretty obvious at least.Seen this movie before.I do think that a subtle factor was the Marvin Jones injury, though. I tend to think all those chances that Whalen got would have been Jones. -QG

Lol why even tackle Dwyer there? Him scoring is our only chance to win.
Agreed Hipple - I don't get it either :(Btw, um, given your name I didn't realize you were a Bengals fan.-QG
I'm not. Don't hate em like some teams. Just and Aj green owner and a fan who has half a brain (which is half a brain more than the collective offensive play callers of cin/car).
Usually only fans of specific teams say things like "we", "us", "our", etc. Probably what threw him off.

Always been impressed with Dwyer running.

If Mendenhall and Redman are healthy, he's going back to inactive. Dwyer's a 2-down back. Whether Mendenhall's a better runner or not is subject to opinion, but it's obvious Mendenhall's the guy if healthy. (As shown with his return to lineup after ACL)
