Figured I might as well get the ball rolling.

What I'm looking for in this game.

1. Sean Mahan at Center. This may be his swan song, he needs to have a solid game to stay competitive for the job.

2. Rashard Mendenhall. Not sure how much he will play, but I want to see more of this guy!

3. Limas Sweed scoring a TD. Hes just so good, I want to see him score right away.

4. Dennis Dixon. He is just fun to watch.

5. Mewelde Moore on kick returns. Special teams in general are always an area of interest (dread)

 
I'm looking forward to seeing

1. Donovan Mcnabb another year removed from ACL surgery

2. DeSean Jackson and Limas Sweed and where they fit in their team's offense.

3. Rashard Mendenhall, especially if they let him play with Ben and the 1st team line.

 
1. Steelers O Line - They have a lot of weapons at the skill positions. But, they'll be useless if the line is a sieve

2. Santonio - got my eye on him as a value play this year, just want to get some more first had observation on his game

3. McNabb - how is he moving now on the knee?

4. Eagles WRs - who is going to step up and be the best of the bums this year

5. Kolb - If he's the future, i want to know whats in store

 
Philly's young LB corp- Gaither moving back to WLB and Stewart Bradley at MLB

It was s sieve last year.Had a 32 TD QB and targets. And the NFLs leading rusher for 14 weeks.

really, it was that bad last year? i know it wasnt up to par with recent steelers o lines, but i thought it was ok. Now with Faneca gone, it could get ugly (er)

Lot of people don't like to hear it cause he was a great player in his day, but Faneca is addition by subtraction.I will be watching for:1. Woodley/Timmons. Every down players or nickel package specialists?2. Colon/Starks. Will they block at all in pass pro or follow Simmons lead and just fall down in the backpedal?3. Sweed/Mendenhall4. Booker. Does he play the Westbrook role well?5. Steelers ST. Do they have a wedge buster? Keyron Fox maybe?6. Moore. Does he return punts and KO?7. Willie Reid. If he doesn't show I think he's cut this off-season.

Not sure what you mean.. I'm not in the local market, but the NFLN's HD broadcast cut out on the first play

Right at 7:30 the channel went black and I got the message the game is not available in my area. I called Directv and they say that the pre-season games are only available in the local market.Unbelievable... wanted to see Mendy and I'm guessing he's probably done for the night...

Odd...I have Dish Network with NFLN, live in Indiana and I'm not blacked out.

That's gotta be BS... I watched plenty of live pre-season games on DirecTV NFLN last year and this one is coming in just fine. I have the Sunday Ticket, but that definitely wouldn't apply to this since it doesn't even apply to regular season Saturday games.

Nope,just got off the phone with them and it's blacked out and NOT on the local Philly channel. Keep the updates coming guys! I'll check out the replay on NFLN when it comes on.

Can't say I'm terribly impressed with Woodley so far... he was in that last play with some scrubs, and Woodley didn't do much. Still early though
