Steelers to play Vikings in London in 2013

The Steelers need to get better at traveling before next season. Pittsburgh, which has struggled on the road, is making the trek overseas to play the Vikings in London in 2013, the NFL announced.

This is the second NFL game to be played in London next season. The 49ers and Jaguars are set to play at Wembley Stadium on Oct. 27, 2013. No date has been announced for Steelers-Vikings.

The Steelers were regular travelers in the NFL's American Bowl series, which featured selected teams in preseason games played internationally from 1986 to 2005. Dan Rooney, United States Ambassador to the Republic of Ireland, has expressed interest in the Steelers playing a game in Ireland.

ETA- From what I understand the Vikings will be the home team in this game.
