been coaching 30 years and I would much rather scheme against a player like Kobe than Steph.same here and coached for the last 20 i would take steph and not even think twice about it i can find anyone to hog the ball what i need is someone who makes everyone else better and can hit the three when its crunch time and in todays game the three is the game and there is nonone better ever than steph at the three and he didnt allegedly rape anyone take that to the bank bromigosPlayed organized ball my entire life into college. I choose Steph in a walk. Steph is the unquestioned greatest shooter to ever live.Love all the emotional responses from the usual nerds who never played a minute of organized ball.
Kobe all day long.
please leave real stats outCurry is only 2.5% ahead of him.hahahahahahahahaAnd his shooting is barely behind.
Kobe averaged slightly more PPG
Kobe by infinite miles
Spoken like a fanboy and someone who just think chucking up shots and scoring lots of points is the key to winningLove all the emotional responses from the usual nerds who never played a minute of organized ball.

Look at true shooting percentage which is a much better stat than strict fg% and you will see how big the difference is.Curry is only 2.5% ahead of him.hahahahahahahahaAnd his shooting is barely behind.

Not from the Bay area.Kobe by infinite miles

Kobe all day long.bay area fans are something else
It’s a bold strategy cotton, let’s see if it works out for him.But trying to prove that by saying he is almost as good of a shooter as Curry is just about the worst argument you can make
Kobe moved to Italy when he was 6 years old while his dad was a pro over there. He moved back to the US when he was 13.We are talking about a guy who went to Europe he was so NBA-ready vs. a guy that had to prove it at Davidson..

Steph is at 62.6% true shooting. Kobe is at 55%.
That is a 7.6% difference. I am not sure there is a player in the NBA in the past 50 years that played any significant minutes who is 7.6% worse than Kobe's 55%. Markelle Fultz, who we all agree is an awful shooter, has a career TS% of .516, only 3.4% worse than Kobe. Ben Simmons has a better career true shooting percentage than Kobe.
You have to go back to dudes in the 50's who had true shooting percentages in the high 40 percent range
Most guys who played basketball have made terrible NBA execs and failed at putting together good teams.I mean all the guys who actually played basketball think Kobe was great but Moops from the fantasy football board free for all disagrees with guys like Larry Bird and Michael Jordan.

Also we can disagree here without being childish about it good buddy
I played 4 years of small college.Love all the emotional responses from the usual nerds who never played a minute of organized ball.

you mispelled stone cold rapist allegedly take that to the ban brochachoI don't think it's fair to say Kobe needed Shaq, and not say that Curry had Klay, Draymond, Iguodala, and later Durant.....those Warrior teams were stacked. Curry is a stone cold killer shooting the ball, but Kobe was just a stone cold killer, period.
Both guys were surrounded by good players when they won championships.
But we're not talking about who is a better human being.you mispelled stone cold rapist allegedly take that to the ban brochachoI don't think it's fair to say Kobe needed Shaq, and not say that Curry had Klay, Draymond, Iguodala, and later Durant.....those Warrior teams were stacked. This is one of my favorite threads ever. It's been a while since we've had a JMon level of Kobe admiration around these parts.
You're arguing somebody who used FG% to compare shooting ability, I don't think diving into advanced stats is going to win you this argument, but I do appreciate the effort.Look at true shooting percentage which is a much better stat than strict fg% and you will see how big the difference is.Curry is only 2.5% ahead of him.hahahahahahahahaAnd his shooting is barely behind.

Other than fragile white males, most people admire Kobe. He worked harder than most and like everyone who’s ever waked this earth, he made mistakes.
He appeared to grow from them and on top of being an excellent basketball player at a championship level, he inspired an entire generation of athletes.
If you “hate” Kobe or any other people that youve never actually met - you’re not on the path of the brohan.

Hasn’t Steph done the same if not more (by literally changing the game)?he inspired an entire generation of athletes.
