Is it time to start looking to trade Jackson now that he doesn't have Pace or id he just a slow starter?

I wouldn't worry. Especially in PPR leagues, STL will find ways to get him involved and he'll serve a good FF purpose ..as a point machine.

SJax isn't egtting ball enough !

Seriously they need to get him alot more involved in the passing game. That is what opened him up last season and when he started really getting going !

SJAX isn't getting the ball.

Week 1- Down 1 point with 23 minutes to play. SJAX GETS 2 CARRIES THE FINAL 23 MINUTES!

Week 2- Up for a majority of the game, but with a 4 point lead with 27 minutes to play. SJAX GETS 7 CARRIES IN THE FINAL 27 MINUTES!!!

Bulger throwing 40+ times per game will not win ball games. I'm sick of seeing SJAX get the 1st down carry, get 3 yds and then watch the Rams throw on 2nd and 3rd downs. A RB like Jackson needs carries to be sucessful.

I admit he needs to hit the hole harder but when he's not getting the ball there's nothing he can do.

The Rams did this last year weeks 1-5. After their bye they gave him the ball more and made him a part of the passing game and he BLEW up.

Hopefully it won't take that long for the coaching staff to realize THEY are taking their best player out of the game.

With their crappy play calling, they deserve their 0-2 start!

SJax with Pace last year:

without Pace:

looks better without Pace to me

the problem is the gameplan/play calling...once they get their act together he'll be fine

Let us not forget that Pace was replaced by Todd Steussie last year2006

Underlined games are with Pace, bolded games are with Stuessie. Stuessie is out until at least november.

Week 11 was when neither Stuessie or Pace placed.

I'm not saying Barron (I think that's the name of the guy who's replacing Pace this year) isn't good, I'm just saying, you can't compare losing Pace last year to losing him this year, because it's not the same.

Hey Modog, that's great insight. It looks like Left tackle has gone from all pro to all schmo.

Took him 1.02 and he's disappointed, but I took Ocho Cinco and Steve Smith at 2.09 and 3.02 (picks 19 and 22) when my fellow owners were taking tier 2 RBs and so far, I'm going well. PPR league. Ahman and A. Peterson (Minn. version) are my RB2 and RB3. Hoping that Sjax starts to produce b/c I know I won't get this type of WR production all year. For now, to answer your question, I'm holding onto him. I know I wouldn't get what I want (an Addai or something).
